A&M went .500 in the conference in 2019 and finished 7-5 overall (the 3 OOO wins were Lamar, UNLV and Texas State) and began last season as the 13th ranked team in the country

But they did pretty good LAST year…. Not sure they deserve that high of ranking but quit bringing up 2019.

I know you struggle with reading comprehension but I’m bringing up 2019 because A&M went through the exact same scenario as LSU last season and started the following season as a top 15 preseason team- so an A&M fan trying to call that out as ridiculous is quite frankly hilarious
You’ll notice that my post has nothing to do with their ranking this season

Welcome to college sports. It matters. Teams who are building their resumes, there's plenty of time to work their way up the food chain. For the playoff committee, they obviously are watching the regular-season polls.
