Reported on Taylor Zarzour and Greg McElroys show just now.

Kelly Bryant did an interview and said this feels like a slap in the face and that he wasnt given a fair shot.

Clemson could be in some trouble if Sunshine gets nicked.

“They asked me how I felt about it,” Bryant said, recalling his meeting with Swinney. “I was like, ‘I’m not discrediting Trevor. He’s doing everything asked of him, but on my side of it, I feel like I haven't done anything to not be the starter. I've been here. I've waited my turn. I've done everything y’all have asked me to do, plus more.’

“I've never been a distraction. I've never been in trouble with anything. To me, it was kind of a slap in the face.”

Sounds like an entitled little prick to me.

Maybe the NCAA will notice the circus the new redshirt rule is creating.

Obviously a typo. Clearly meant wasn't. Already fixed.

from an overall perspective, trevor gives them the best chance to compete with alabama, albeit how futile those chances might be.

bryant did pretty much save them during the a&m game, however, with those last few scoring drives.

Yeah to decide to transfer for you is one thing, but to go and say shite like this is disrgraceful. Dude started 18 games including all 4 this year. He had more than ample opportunities to win the job. He played 128 snaps this year to 120. He clearly isn't as good.

Agree. Once the season starts, if you play four games, try to get a redshirt, and then plan or announce to transfer, then you shouldn't get credit for a redshirt. Only exception would be some kind of emergency at home.

What do you want, a cookie? You got beat out on performance, not because you robbed a liquor store.

I really hate this easily offended generation sometimes.

And God forbid anyone ask him about his education.

The new rule is great for players and teams.

Hat's off to Dabo for doing this now and not next week. He knew that this may be the result and probably wanted to give KB the shot to transfer if he felt like that would be best.

The NCAA isn't going to change this rule back. It's good for the sport, the players, teams, and media cycle.

How is the new rule great for teams?

Clemson doesn't have a competent backup QB now.

And that is balanced out by some team getting a really good QB as their starter next season.

Dabo sounded like he was doing all he could to keep Bryant there, but I guess he saw the writing on the wall.

Another demonstration of the power of Lord Saban for keeping Hurts at Alabama.
