Goodberry is right, fricking cowards.
So the Chiefs should risk injury to their star players right before the playoffs in a game that had no impact on their own playoff seeding, because KC needs to help another team's playoff chances?
I was rooting for the Bengals to get in, but criticizing KC for resting their starters given that the #1 seed was already clinched is a bad take

I'm not the smartest guy out there, but I'm not sure if I would say I'm stupid.

Yesterday was a PLAYOFF game for the Broncos. It was a PRESEASON game for the Chiefs. The Chiefs ran the most vanilla schemes as to not put anything on film that opponents can gameplan for. The Broncos literally emptied their clip. Because it was win or go home.
Stop the strawman. Obviously the Chiefs did not care about this game, but there is zero world out there where even their backups should have gotten their asses kicked that badly, and due to roster limits, there were definitely starters sprinkled in. It was a poor showing that may or may not have an affect on the post season. Teams that effectively don't play for three weeks tend to show rust.

Well since the bengals already played the chiefs this year and lost to them. They have no one else to blame

But all the organization proved this week is that they are certified pussies that are scared of Joe Burrow and an 8 loss Bengals team, bc in your heart of hearts, yall know that you cannot beat them without officiating help on key plays (usually the last on of the game).

Yeah you are stupid amd dont know what a strawman is.
NFL starters playing for their playoff life versus backups (some the Chiefs signed or elevated from the PS just to fill the gameday roster) who have nothing to play for.
And the Chiefs have made the AFCCG every year the last 6 seasons. This isn't the bengals who make it every blue moon. Mahomes has played a season of postseason unlike burrow. Chiefs will be fine.

Cincy lost to the fricking Patriots in week one. That's in them for not making the playoffs.

But they definitely took the easier perceived path.
Playing the Bengals would present no more challenge for the Chiefs than playing any other team, to be honest.

Is this your first year watching football? They always suck in September. Another reason Zac Taylor is a terrorist.

The Bengals are what their record says they are..........not a really good team.
No one to blame but themselves.

They don’t owe the Bengals a thing, but don’t act like the Chiefs put forth a professional effort Sunday.
That's nothing new though. There have been plenty of teams over the years who have clinched the 1 seed and then rested their starters the final week.

Not every team that tanks the last game of the season attempts to forfeit due to bad travel schedule and then shows up to the game and loses by their 3rd worst margin in franchise history
The Chiefs managed to do both in week 17.
This was a historic tank job.

Come on… mvp candidate qb who’s been to a Super Bowl or Bo fricking Nix. They weren’t intentionally trying to lose but they sure as shite didn’t care if they won.

The Bengals were scared to play good at the beginning of the season.

Its weird how Bo has his team in the postseason but "mvp candidate" burrow doesn't.

It's like some of you never watch the NFL. Why should the Chiefs expose their best players to injuries in a game that has no effect on their season? Teams do this shite every year, but I guess it's only a problem when the Chiefs do it.
