I dont understand how that isnt an ejection.

GK was clearly sliding.

I completely disagree with them waiving off that targeting.

So if it's a bad hit ESPN does not show the replay anymore?

I guess so. In years past, they had no issue with showing knees getting destroyed on replay. Weird.

Poor Tuberville can't catch a break after Auburn.

He did grab his facemask right after. They're showing him getting loaded in the back

Like me, ESPN thought he might be dead.

That's the exact type of hit they are seeking to prevent. IF that's not targeting you might as well get rid of the rule.

I like that ESPN showed him talking and updated that he moved his legs fine, but do they have to show him being loaded into the ambulance?!

Since when does the defender have to use his helmet for it to be targeting? That was basically the explanation we were given

I mean frick officials. That is the first overturn I have seen and it is on a olay where the player should be ejected even if there is no targeting rule at all

Yeah, going after a sliding QB should be at least 15 yards every time.

Baffling overturn. Clearly trying to behead the guy.

You serious? In slow motion it looked bad, but in full speed it didn't look nearly as bad.

Edit: Thought it was targeting, but no chance that would even be considered for ejection prior to the rule.

2. Feel awful for the kid who hit him as well, the speed these guys are moving at you know he didn't do that on purpose and certainly didn't want this to happen
