Why?

It's never been really tried in the NFL. Who's to say it won't work?

Not you certainly.

I'm pretty stoked about this. Any "option QB" that has come to the NFL has still really played mostly a pro style type with just a few little gadgets here an there.
I can't wait to see how a full fledged system installed in the NFL will work. Honestly, I don't see why Kelly would pass up Tebow for this. He's exactly what he needs

As a HB or QB?

I think he needs serious speed guys, with some bruisers.

Give Tebow 15 carries a game

It's entertaining to think about it...but I really don't think it can work unless he gets the right guys. A lot more room for error and failure.

It would be interesting to make a Big Board of best dual threat QBs in the NFL.

I don't think that's possible since they are riding the pine everywhere mostly

I highly doubt it. Trade or release. Get his contract off the books, bring someone that can take a pounding.

what was the high school offense with 11 skill players all running around in circles, sometimes blocking, sometimes running/receiving, sometimes throwing? we need an NFL version of that!!

Tebow doing the read option with a speedy back. Then have Denard in the slot or something who you can let go in motion.

Wow, pretty stoked to see all the possibilities. I hope Kelly really does this

I don't think that formation is legal in college or Pros though.

Too bad he wasn't in the NFL when Brian Mitchell was playing.

I've been a big supporter of seeing his offense in the NFL, but signing 3 disposable QBs doesn't sound like sustained success, no matter how much you build the rest of the team. You have to have a QB, and I think it will be either Vick or a fringe starter/backup like Tavaris Jackson/Drew Stanton short term.

Granted, you'll have to have a backup for whomever, but I don't see 3 washouts coming in and sustaining success outside the first 5 games. There needs to be "the guy", and not 3. Who is the leader, who comes in when, what habits from each QB do they have to sync themselves with when he's in? People called the Jets' Wildcat a mess, and this has it written all over it using 3.

He's not obligated to draft a QB that he doesn't like, but there's only so many drafts you can pass one over. He's gonna have to find "the guy" soon enough, if his plans are to stay for the long haul in the NFL.

I don't see having 3 QBs working, sounds like a jumbled mess heading into the meat of a NFL schedule...

What pick do they have? # 3?

Geno Smith would be hard to turn down I think.

Fine, sign A quarterback for the minimum. And throw all the money into the line and defense.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

There are guys out there to run this offense, people just aren't giving them a chance, and they are cheap. That's the best part.

And what's the difference between having a leader on the O-line as opposed to a QB.

Platoon RBs, Platoon QBs. Run the single wing if you want. Change shite up.

Run the hurry up, run 120 plays a game. Score 50 points.

It'll be fun to watch.
