And it’s still guaranteed money and ensures if he turns his leg backwards like a Barbie tomorrow he will never want again.

I mean, that was gonna happen on a 5 year extension either way

Plus, like Lester said, all the QAnon people swore off the NFL so that's gotta hurt their bottom line.

Less people will likely attend games, imo, but that will just increase TV viewers. NFL is about to enter a negotiations as well.

No better time to negotiate a tv deal than during a period where fans aren't allowed to view games in person.

It sets a ceiling on where his extension should land and also sets a precedent of a QB taking a longer (likely team friendlier) deal and that’s been the hitch between the two sides

This is a really good point that I did not think of.

You are exactly right, the years are what is holding dak up.

I'd rather take my chances with Dalton than pay Dak $40 mil/yr

I agree with you. I'd rather pay Dalton $20/mil a year for the next five years than Dak $40m/year for the next five.

I didn’t even think 10-year extensions were possible

He deserves it
That's wild.

I'm guessing even with a mega deal like this, that it'll still be a deal that never goes the full 10 years, and it'll get restructured down the road or will have opt outs.

But still, wild.

Not all white people, but a vast silent majority will. The same vast silent majority that will elect Trump to a 2nd term, you race baiting cocksucker.

But serious, Lester, let's get in this thing and go throw some bricks through some windows casue we is in pain.

Wonder if any of the $ is deferred. If not, I love this for Mahomes but question it for the Chiefs financially given the uncertainty about future revenue streams. But frick it, it isn't my money.

I mean I’m not saying he’s gonna be hurting for money, but you’re leaving a lot of leverage on the table without much upside by locking into a long term deal like that.
I'd be shocked if he didn't have an early opt-out clause in the deal.

You have a Lester Earl vibe to you Henderson. Let's go protest together by vandalizing local businesses. I would like to understand the pain. I also want to know this feeling of committing crimes and glorifying criminals that put themselves in a position to get shot by cops by committed crimes. I need to know to fully support your one world liberal godless agenda
