Good for Mahomeboy, hopefully it doesn’t frick up his game, he comes off as a guy who’s grounded and works hard, I don’t think it will

Final Patrick Mahomes’ deal:

10-year extension worth up to $503 million.

It includes $477 in guarantee mechanisms and the ability for Mahomes to have outs if guarantee mechanisms aren’t exercised.

Starting in 2022, and for 10 years running, Patrick Mahomes has a $1.25 million incentive for winning AFC Championship game and a $1.25 million incentive for winning NFL MVP, per source. That’s $25M of incentives over 10 years, taking value of his deal from $477M to $503M.

Great investment and money well spent I would say with the talent that they have offensively now that they've added CEH to make it even more explosive. They could win another 3 SB in those 10 years, maybe 4, they just need to keep the defense solid because they'll be able to outscore anyone.

That offense is going to be nasty again. CEH is absolute steal for them

Indeed. It's just too bad the Chiefs won't be as competitive as they were offering practically the entire farm to one guy.

yeah, that's the only thing I was thinking about, they'll have problems now signing top FA's to bring in to help defensively or just even resigning top players and keeping them there. I hope the numbers (on that contract) are worked out in their favor going forward.

No doubt, a steal that will catch and run all over the place for them.

Gonna have to hit home runs on draft day for the next twelve years. I’d say Reid has done pretty damn well on the offensive side. Just need to even out on D.

Can’t afford first and second round busts.

$500m seems like chump change in exchange for 11 straight Super Bowls
