Hockey playoffs are the best, so stressful and I don't have a dog in the fight.

So tough to win road face offs when the officials don't make them come to a complete stop. Still Pavel been money

So Blackhawks-Wings and Kings-Sharks.

Think I'll go Hawks and Sharks.

Great series! Now I fully expect detroit to lose game 1 to Chicago.

Frick yeah, thank god.

Money, it's so bad we aren't even phased by these delay of game penalties. Babcock needs to call timeout with five minutes left and remind everyone to keep the puck down.

Chicago will kill us, but I don't care.

Few teams I will savor watching them lose.

Anaheim, and especially Corey Perry, are one of them.

Hopefully that isn't Teemu's last game, don't think it will be.

Wow, as if the Bruins weren't tired enough...

Statement from Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli:

"Late during tonight's game we were made aware that there was a malfunction with our airplane. As a result we are staying in Toronto on Sunday night and the team will travel to Boston on Monday morning."

Seriously, I think the Caps biggest issue is the same one they have had the past few post- seasons : once again Alexander Semin just hasn't showed up once the playoffs have started.

Seriously though was thinking about the officiating and how horrible it's been. Food for thought:
1) for the previous 5 games Ovechkin has been embellishing the impact of every hit - it's been one dive after another -
Every game it's the same grassy knoll re-enactment - the officials probably can't differentiate between a penalty and a dive and are not giving the Caps the benefit of the doubt.
2) the Caps play extremely aggressive hockey. You guys call that playing with intensity and playing to the whistle but its also undosciplined hockey. Greens cross check to the face is just one more example of that. You are going to naturally get more penalties with that style of play.
3) the rangers are playing with more discipline. It's all part of the philosophy that Tortorella has.

That being said they probably have a Few make up calls on Monday night. But seriously if you are going to bitch, how about bitching about the lack of support Ovechkin has from his supporting cast. Score more goals and the officiating is a non issue.

I think the Rangers take the next game - 95% because I'm biased and 5% because I don't think the Caps have anything left in the tank and don't have the horses on the 3rd and 4th lines to make it happen.

Fell asleep during wings game, but I'll take the W.

Honestly, i didnt think they'd win this series, but I will take it. Chicago, though, will be a different animal.
