Lackey did hit the first guy on purpose. The other two were shitty pitches. He was not loading the bases on purpise with a 2 r lead.

Yeah I'm not disagreeing that Hawk Harrelson is an idiot. I just think his unbridled homerism is pretty funny.

If the umpire reviewing it has been around long enough, then he's probably gotten into an argument with someone from the Cubs at some point too. He would have had a better argument claiming bias towards the Cubs for playoff ratings reasons.

At some point we'll have to reconcile that this is who he is. I'm surprised anyone one ever throws anything close to the strike zone to him. He'll hit it if you do. But you don't have to throw a strike to get him out. He's like Soriano in that regard. But unlike Sorry he is plus/plus in the field.
