Only for a 3rd round pick. Can the Bengals make any moves like this? Sheesh.

Skins draft Haskins a year before the Burrow draft and then get stuck with Young as the 2nd overall pick. So depressing

Seemingly, but can't stop a wet paper sack on defense the last few weeks. Hopefully this helps, but I beginning to wonder how "stacked" they are on that side of the ball.

There were plenty of people who thought he should have been 1st overall. He's obviously not lived up to the hype but let's not act like Washington wasn't ecstatic to have him.

Just be happy you didn't draft Okudah with the 3rd overall pick (Lions)

All of this will be worth it when we win a Super Bowl in 2060

The sorry arse new redskins owners know their best bet to beat the cowboys and eagles is to give away there talented players for peanuts

I don't understand why they are trading him.

Redskins owner must have got some bad Coke. Saw where 49ers will only have to pay Young like 500k for the rest of the season.

So they get something for him in the last year of his contract since they weren't going to offer him a big contract to resign, which he will want.

Skins picked up a 3rd rounder for someone who was probably going to refuse to sign an extension in the offseason.

Might as well wait on compensatory pick

He suffers another injury, they won't get a 3rd for him because no team would be that ridiculous to pay >10mil for a prove it deal.

Not including the fact --- washington has to not add a free agent to offset it (which they will because they have 91mil).

Sweat & Young were going to get PAID. I'm just shocked they didn't keep Sweat if they were gonna rid of Young. Toohill looks good in rotation, but aside from that they are woefully thin.
