Reminder that LSU suspended their head coach for the SEC tournament and first 2 games of NCAA tournament.

Imagine being so naive that one would think this was over a cheeseburger.

I can't get over the hilarity of that.

I mean that's not what he said at all. He said he got a loan last year from someone he knew prior to ever playing college football.

Reminds me of Marcus monk at Arkansas when he played basketball his 5th year. I'm wanting to say the loan was less than $500. The guy that loaned him the money knew him his entire life. He had to forfeit his eligibility.

Is this really DisplacedBuckeye's explanation of the situation?

1 game suspension.....move along!!! So ridiculous

Again, don't you think exactly who this "family friend" is kinda matters before you can say something like that?

Also, just because he said he paid it back, we should assume that's true and wash our hands of this?

C'mon

It's not like that at all. Young admits he's only known the guy since the summer before his freshman year at tOSU.

As in, a couple of months before he enrolled at tOSU.

Chase Young issued a statement. Said he accepted a loan from a family friend he knew before coming to OSU and repaid it in full last summer.

So he really just came out and admitted to taking a loan from a family friend?

Imagine thinking Ohio State was going to get the death penalty because the Heisman front-runner ate a bacon cheeseburger with a side of onion rings.

Made even greater in that he actually did believe that.

Bruh. He literally said it was a family friend he's only known since right before his freshman year at tOSU.

Right, i mean it's been 3 years he's known him then. I mean maybe this is a booster, maybe it's an actual family friend. Hell i loaned (gave) 5K to a friend i've never seen again because she needed it. Life happens

Now if it's a booster and there is way more, then as I've always said, get rid of him and move on. No player is bigger than the university.

I didn't.

But you 100% did think this was over a cheeseburger, so everyone will point and laugh at anything you say in here from here on out.

Enjoy!

He didn't know the guy until right before he started at OSU.

Clearly a booster dude.

A "family friend" who came into the picture right as Young was enrolling at tOSU.
