I don't think they could have done worse than Ark has.

If Jurich didn't cut ties with Pitino after his clusterfrick, he won't with Strong after this. They'll end up just settling outside of court.

ETA: They'll end up putting it on the trainer and cutting them loose. And because scholarships are offered on a yearly basis and players have little to no protection against them being pulled they won't get hit with that either.

So did Strong order a beating? I'm not understanding this. Was it part of a px? Was it hazing?

This is one of the reports from back when the brothers were charged:

quote:

Jacob and Isaac Geffrad are charged with first degree assault. Court documents say they attacked their teammate Patrick Grant in October in the locker room at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. Grant says Jacob Geffrad accused him of not practicing hard enough.

“Basically Isaac was holding Patrick while Jacob hit him,” said Gregg Hovious, Grant’s attorney. “Then he said to Patrick ‘fight me’ and he said I don’t want to fight you and then an assault took place and very shortly after that assault started Jacob’s brother jumped in as well. After the incident Grant went to the hospital. He had to have surgery immediately without anesthesia to relieve a hemorrhage behind the eye then a second major surgery took place a few days later because his orbital bone was completely crushed,” said Hovious.

Maybe for now, but in 20 years, UofL will dominate UK in every sport and Lexington will be a suburb of Louisville.

ETA: It's going to take you at least 15 just to catch up in basketball if we never win another game against you.

Maybe you can work on the 3 in a row (5 all together, which has never been done in the series) you'd have to reel off to catch up in football too?

When I lived in Louisville, I would give my UK friends so much shite in the week running up to the UofL/UK game. Good Times.

Luckily living in Louisville there are still just as many or more Kentucky fans then there are Louisville fans. So it's not too bad. Even with the ones who have come out of the woodwork as of late.
