I'd be more inclined to think it's not LSU, because if it was, Miles would've got the frick out of dodge when he had the chance.
That's the most reassuring way to think about it that I've heard.

I think Les runs a clean program, but then again, people pointed to Tressel as being the perfect example of a stand up coach for years.

Also, I had a terrifying dream where the NCAA brought down the hammer on LSU. So there's that.

Why wait until August? What if the NCAA comes down on that "10" school before then? He'll lose the exposure if he doesn't release it first.

He must know the NCAA doesn't know anything about it. So, my guess is that it isn't Auburn. Cause you know the NCAA has their eye on them.

Another thought, him releasing info in August in genius because the CFB hype is at an all-time high around that time. Bigger splash.

Definitely. Probably a top 1-15 team too. He could easily have broadcasters talking about his story every week for all season, much like the Cam Newton situation the last half of 2010.

It could be another sport, say CBB...maybe Kentucky?

If it's CFB, August is the perfect time and will ruin the season of that team.

You do realize that Texas's defense wasn't exactly shutting people down last year or the year before right?

They had a Top 10 defense the last 2 seasons.

I'm sorry but why would he hold a "10" story until August? Doesn't that leave open the possibility of someone else breaking the story? I'm calling Bull shite.

i know it's a bit of a formality these days, but maybe he's actually constructing a story filled with rock solid sources and research and such and not just running with the first rumor he hears.

I doubt it is Florida... but if it is then Meyer would take a place next to Tressell as the biggest hypocrite

You can't market yourself as a 10 on the integrity meter and show up as a 2-3

My guesses (in order of likelihood):

Oregon
Auburn
Florida
Texas
Clemson

I disagree with everyone who says it can't be Auburn that he's talking about. Nothing has come out really about Auburn that "sticks" ... mostly all rumor/hearsay/speculation at this point. There's still a lot to the Auburn story that has not been revealed to the public and a lot that has yet to be reported as fact.

And FWIW, I don't put it past Cecil Newton and Cam Newton to sell their side of the tell-all story after the draft is over/contracts signed and the negative ramifications to Newton's pro career are minimized with a story of this magnitude coming out.... maybe that's the reason for the delay of story til August... If the story came out now, it would definitely hurt his draft stock.

Mr. Robinson rated the story to be broken this month as a 6-7, and gave the late-summer story a 10-rating, without hesitation.

I'm guessing the 6-7 pertains to the Patrick Peterson story.

Will they just ring a death knell as they release the story in August? It's going to get ugly for that lucky program.

it's probably going to be some shite school like Michigan during the Rich Rod era. Then unfortnately, I think it's LSU. We've been flying under the radar for a while now and that scares the shite out of me.
