I don’t think brees hates anyone

You alluded yesterday that I thought he was racist.

You really are seeing red aren’t you ?

Quit the lies.

You lied about this
You lied about watching the video in the other thread
You lied about quitting TD

Seems like you're just a liar.

It wasn’t insensitive either, fat frick.

I’m more offended that Brees apologized than I am at the original remarks.

hey most people will apologize to people they care about when they mess up. You are acting like brees is only apologizing to an angry mob. That is not the case. Brees wanted to apologize to his friends and his teammates. Brees realizes it was not the time to go there.

Really the teammates are who matters to someone like Drew he wanna make it right with them.

Was he not asked about the flag protestors though? He gave his own respectful opinion. He didn’t lace it with racist or violent rhetoric.

He shouldn’t have apologized. If his teammates and anybody else actually had respect for him they’d have allowed him to voice his own opinion.

Drew only got in trouble for having the audacity to voice his opinion on something in America in 2020.

He didn’t mess up, he had nothing to apologize for.

How about this. If you can find a post I’ve made saying that brees is hateful, racist or divisive, I'll quit the board right now.

If you can't, you admit that you lied.

Deal?

Chuck can be so even handed on racial issues that even if I don’t agree I don’t discount what he says immediately, whereas a LeBron opinion is always gonna be one sided.

Sorry this was misleading Brees could have said this instead of lying about the motives of kneelers .

And all the people protesting could just get a life instead of lying that black people are being hunted by cops. You are truly lost if you cant see the fascism of BLM and this movement. No dissenting opinions allowed. Pathetic. It also doesn't matter if they wee trying to disrespect the flag. Millions of Americans saw it as disrespect. That's all that matters to you is how others feel about something right? Not the actual intent.

This is basically 90% of the reason Drew has received so much backlash. When Drew said what he said, people automatically assumed he was saying that it was completely ok that the cop kneeled on George's neck. Of course, that is not what Drew was saying, but that is how people took it.

Basically, if Drew would have did that interview 2 weeks earlier, it would hardly be a blurb on any social media site. But because he said it now, during a time where there have been protests and riots all over the country. When you have every company under the block stating Black Lives Matter on their website. 95% of people all agree that what Chauvin did was unacceptable and he deserves to do some sort of prison time, but that isn't enough for folks

What I really believe is the most disappointing is how his own teammates threw him under the bus. If guys would have just said "yo Drew, this isn't it, let's talk" or "Drew, I love and respect you but I also disagree and here is why..." Most of these guys have been in the locker room with him for years. Surely they would know hes not some white supremacist racist
