I’ve caught fox sports in passing this week and I couldn’t believe it was exactly like ESPN. It was Skip and Shannon.

I clearly don’t watch sports talk tv any more, but I thought they were providing an alternative to the SJW agenda stuff from ESPN.. I was wrong.

I empathize for any man treated unfairly due to the color of their skin

Ahh, so even after apologizing and clearing things up you still have him cancelled

So tolerant Shannon

I haven't listened to his bs apology . I was speaking about his initial answer. His teammates have told him for 4 seasons it wasn't about soldiers/ veterans & flags. That was the first piece of garbage Drew spewed from his mouth.

Brees is no Dak Prescott

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has pledged $1 million "to improve police training and address systematic racism through education and advocacy in our country."

no this was not about politics. its about human decency. When you know your brother is hurting it is not the best time to bring up somehting you disagree on. Brees agreed. And said so himself.

I see. I appreciate you explaining it this way.

However, didn’t they ask him the question? I regret the interviewer even put him in this position. He was caught off-guard and didn’t think it through. He gave an answer from his own justifiable passions. Whether you agree with them or not, you should still have some understanding where he is coming from.

I don’t know. All of this sucks. This is the worst year of my existence.

This is what you had to say about the Ahmaud Arbery case:

quote:

Why people care so much about this, is why th is country is where it is. A bunch of people that want Facebook likes and riding their ivory tower high horse horn tooting douche mobiles.

And I still 100% stand by that statement....

What happened to Arbery is wrong, and you can find those posts i have in there as well, but the fact the country is spending more time and effort on this, as opposed to so many more pressing issues this country faces(and at the time the govt forcing people out of business)is both perplexing, and faux outrage

People chose to focus on the mole hill, because the emotion it envokes and the social points they can score, and ignore the mountains

Q:
quote:

"I'm curious how you think the NFL will and should respond to that, and of course you're such a leader in the league, what is your responsibility as a leader in times like this for the rest of your teammates and players in the league?"

A:
quote:

"Well, I will never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America, or our country,"
"Let me just tell you what I see or what I feel when the national anthem is played, and when I look at the flag of the United States. I envision my two grandfathers who fought for this country during World War II — one in the Army and one in the Marine Corps — both risking their lives to protect our country and to try and make our country and this world a better place.

"So every time I stand with my hand over my heart looking at that flag and singing the national anthem, that's what I think about. And in many cases it brings me to tears thinking about all that has been sacrificed — not just those in the military, but for that matter, those throughout the civil rights movements of the '60s, and all that has been endured by some many people up until this point.

"Is everything right with our country right now? No, it's not. We still have a long way to go. But I think what you do by standing there and showing respect for the flag with your hand over your heart, is that it shows unity. It shows that we are all in this together, that we can all do better, and that we are all a part of the solution."
