Each decision made has only made it easier for us to watch every second of the season. So thats been pretty good

I could see the argument for it being bad for college athletics, but not wrong. Allowing athletes to make money is the right thing to do.

Tbh listening to a beatdown against a lower FBS team is way better on the radio than watching whatever shitty ESPN broadcast is offered

A big time SEC game on CBS will never be equaled

Outside of the MACtion moving to weekdays, I’m just fine without the efforts to broadcast every single game. I honestly don’t care what the bottom feeders of the Sun Belt or AAC are doing. If there are games on ABC, CBS, Fox, ESPN, and ESPN 2, you are probably getting a good matchup.

It seems like so many decisions seem good on the surface but there's no consideration of the unintended consequences.

Did you ever really believe decision makers had you (the fan) as a primary concern in any of those decisions?

All the involved entities are making more money with these decisions.

My point is that not that long ago, like maybe 15 years ago, it was not uncommon for major conferences to have their ganes actually have no TV option. Im sure you dont care if boston college is on TV, but its hard for a school like Boston College to grow any kind of support if they arent even on TV

In 2008, A&M had 4 big 12 games that were not shown on TV. That is absolutely insane now, but it was common back then

That was objectively bad for the sport

That’s great. It makes no difference to me as a fan how much money the conglomerates make.

I haven’t liked a lot of it, but I fully approve of a playoff over the BCS. So there’s at least one decision I don’t agree was incorrectly made(though it isn’t perfect how it’s currently set up).

A lot of people were against it actually. I think the main casualty of the transistion is the BCS bowls outside of the title game still meant a lot even to outside fans. Way more than the NY6 bowls that took their place currently do at least. Though you could make the argument adding so many bowls games watered down bowl season as a whole, simply making a bowl game at all used to be a huge deal but now you got 5-7 teams making it in now
