He talks like his audience is a frat party on TV. He's better on local radio segments when they have him on.

I’d take LSU’s last 25 years over any other program not named Bama. 3 national titles including the greatest team of all time

Yeah. 3 vs 2 is one way. But also LSU misses years at a time.

Ohio state has been in a BCS or Ny6 bowl all but two years and has won more of the two than anyone

So I don't think they fell into respect by accident

Why the hell is Ohio State over Georgia? They have done absolutely nothing

Not that it matters but still
ESPN just pissed CBS would be getting a 1-2 matchup

They proved on the field they definitely belonged that year.

USC is way above Utah. Odd considering both have 1 loss and Utah beat them head to head. Lincoln and LA factor I guess

Eta: forgot about the loss to Florida in week 1. They should still have an argument to be ranked above LSU

Interesting stats they showed

That ohio state has a higher strength of record, strength of schedule, and margin of victory than Georgia

So it can make sense

beat the number 8 team by 46

it's the best win of the season. we had a bad game against mizzou, though, so i get it. but "what has georgia done" is a weird thing to ask

Why? I’m not arguing this, but if they think Tennessee is #1, Bama lost to them by a last second, barely-cleared FG AT TENNESSEE. They have a legit argument if they wanted to put Bama at #2 if they’ve only barely lost a last second game on the road to #1.

I disagree with the committee’s goal. They want to get the “best” teams in. That’s way too subjective to me. Because they’re arrogant in thinking they can objectively determine that through the eyeball test. But every week in CFB proves what we think we “know” via the eyeballs, we do not. I think it should be “the more deserving teams,” which is much more objective imho.

I’d personally have TCU over Bama because I think l think they’re currently more “deserving.” But the—incorrect, imo—goal of getting the 4 “best” teams can justify Bama over TCU pretty easily.

i guess that all works if you just ignore the other 2 games that bama could have easily lost

Well said.

Teams like Bama and Georgia are playoff worthy as soon as they step off the bus if we are giving that much weight to the eye test.

The requirements should stay tangible.

Ohio State beat the a Top 15 team by 13 on the road in the most hostile environment in the country, and dominated every other team we played.

I asked a "weird" question in response to a dumb one.

And this is false:

it's the best win of the season.

"what has georgia done" has literally nothing to do with ohio state

It kind of is, but like I said, their goal is wrong. It should be the most deserving. It’s much more objective.

I mean, my team, LSU, is getting the benefit of the “best team” eyeball test by being ranked so high. And they may be the 10th best team currently in CFB. But they’re currently not the “deserving” of that spot. The Florida State game happened—it counted, no matter what week—and there’s no real argument LSU is “deserving” of being top 10. But this whole “best 4 teams” is just an easy way to justify whatever decisions they make to put the 4 teams they want in. Despite all the semi-final blowouts prove them wrong.
