Not saying this is wrong but I can’t see how the SEC gets left out of the playoff altogether. SEC has won 14 of the last 20 National Championships.

Because Texas has an equal record and head to head. Who would you leave out?

don’t understand why this is so hard for people. They aren’t buried. They need help, yes. If Alabama beats UGA and one of fsu or Texas lose they are in. Is this that hard?

I think everyone is ok with this. What people are pre melting over is Bama getting in over Texas or an undefeated FSU

Here we go. ESPN has revived the rematch plotline. (For those who don't know, ESPN is the SEC, SEC is ESPN, bought and invested in.). ESPN owns no rights to the Big10 or next years, Oregon, Washington Big10.

Hence why the SEC won the conference expansion and TV rights.

College football narrative is set by espn and herbstreit.

Sucks to suck big 10.

Any resume based on Penn State should be moot, they are not a good team. Should be much lower in rankings. Ohio St should plummet to bottom of 1 loss teams this week, Michigan has no argument if they somehow lose to Iowa by a score of 3-6

Honestly don't get the Texas thing. Yes they beat Alabama. But what else have they done? They lost to Oklahoma, the only other decent team on their schedule and have looked very unimpressive most of the season until last week. If they weren't being directly compared with Alabama they should be the second lowest ranked of the 1 loss teams ahead of Oregon whose resume is also not good.

So what's the point of playing a marquee OOC opponent in September if we're just supposed to ignore it now?

Is Ohio State still number 1 in ESPNs worthless FPI ranking?

This is spot on. Penn State shouldn't be 10 with their best win being against freaking Iowa who lost to 5-7 Minnesota. The committee doesnt give a shite who you beat, as long as you win. I wish all SEC teams would get out of all their OOC games vs any team with a pulse. The only thing it can do is hurt you in the long run.

Ohio St was ranked 2 and dropped to 6 after losing to number 3. You think Michigan wouldn't drop further than that if they lost to Iowa, and Georgia wouldn't fall AT LEAST to 5 with a loss to number 8 Bama?

UGA and Michigan both hoping Washington loses, FSU wins and in UGA's case stays at 4 or Michigan's case jumps to 3

1 loss SEC champ bama will be in no matter what. Only a total retard would argue otherwise.

I tend to think this as well, and I've been downvoted into oblivion for it by low IQ LSU fans that don't want to believe it.

It will make for some very difficult decisions, if Bama ends up winning, but ultimately Bama would have to be in. And yes, that means above Texas and Oregon.

That's accurate. The hate for Bama is so strong that they will move the goal post all over the place, even arguing both ends for different teams to justify it.

Tard take.

They're easily behind TCUN, Washington, and Florida State if all win on Friday. They're also likely behind Texas if they win comfortably.

Like it or not, Bama might need help.

They aren't leaving a 1 loss SEC champ bama out no matter what. Uga will be out before Bama in that scenario.

Y'all are insane

No shot in hell the jump oregon, fsu, or Texas without them losing. The committee has made that blatantly clear
