It sets a precedent either way honestly. Bama is in: CCGs hurt you. SMU is in: SOS is meaningless. Let’s see what they choose.
I’m more than willing to use conference championship games as litmus tests for teams that have terrible SOS’s and zero ranked wins.
I rather keep SOS meaningful.
I don’t think it’s responsible for this board to be rabidly cheering for Alabama to be pushed out for SMU.
If Alabama is out, what is damaged? It makes teams go schedule tough opponents if they’re in shite conferences.
If we reward SMU and these other teams with shite SOS’s, well, have fun with scheduling in the future. I’d think big teams would stop putting their necks out there moving forward.

That was already going to happen in this new system.
Also Bama is in this spot because of their conference record, not because of any hard OOC game they scheduled. Their OOC slate was Mercer, WKU, USF, and Wisky. They were hardly sticking their necks out as it is

No worries mate. Bama is in..at this point you can talk schedule or good wins, or bad losses.
It’s all about tv ratings. Sadly. Who wants to watch SMU vs ND????

other teams have already been rewarded for bad schedules though. why pick and choose now to benefit a 3 loss bama team with a terrible late season loss?
they had smu ahead before the extra conference championship game. they should not fall behind a team they were ahead of that didn't play. you probably have a 4th loss if you played another ou. especially on the road.

What part of this are y'all not understanding. Bama is not being punished for having a tougher SOS. They're being punished for losing 3 games. It Bama did not lose to Oklahoma, they are 100% in over SMU. But, that didn't happen.

Quint saying some teams don't want to do watch parties for fear of being humiliated.

texas has zero ranked wins.
ND has 1 ranked win and a loss to N Illinois.
and why is Indiana better than SMU? they had one of the worst SOS in country. they get booty blasted by OSU and with the embarrassing loss, their SOS shoots up from 75 to 25. that’s a joke if you are using that metric to differentiate between teams.

I’m somewhat indifferent to where OSU is as they controlled their destiny and didn’t get it done
However, why would they be behind PSU is beyond me. They didn’t play either of the teams OSU lost to and OSU beat them at PSU

SHOCKING! An alabama fan thinks a team more deserving should be out and they should be in. Breaking news to you morans in tuscalooser. Your team sucks this year! You earned nothing but still get handed everything. The world is sick and tires of you babies getting spoon fed! Grow a pair and admit you have no business being in and work to CHANGE THE SYSTEM TO STOP BENEFITING YOU!

They'll say it's because they didn't want to punish PSU for playing the extra game.
And then put Bama over SMU.

3. BOISE ST
Thought that'd be ASU
4. ASU
Good for them. They have been playing some good ball lately
Clemson not in the top 4

Boise St would be an 8 win team in the SEC or Big10, IMO, but gets #3 seed.

First 4 are correct. Now can they do the rest right and leave those inbred cocksuckers from Bama out?

where have you been the past 3 months? we already played the SEC season and championship to decide which SEC teams would get in.
