What's the word on St Amant coaching search? Big 5a program probably has a list of guys looking to take over.

ahhhh even better so that means he didn't play you. His history speaks for itself. Doesn't need some little pip squeak talking out he side of his head on a message board.

Looks like brusly got a damn good coach. Can’t wait to see what he does with that program in the coming years.

Hes a great coach, knows the area and should be able to keep kids from going to some of the private schools.. He is getting a bit up in age, so you must wonder how long he wants to do this.

St Amant hires Brandon Bravata from Berwick. Don’t know much about him except he was pretty good at Berwick and he’s very young

Bravo is a good coach. He was our assistant coach at LSUA. Think he'll be good for St. Amant

Good to hear. Hopefully it pays off and hopefully he can deal with all of the politics and parents that come with being the head coach for St. Amant

He’s one of us

Went to Redemptorist graduating in 2006. Played at Delta State then LSUS. Coaching started at Catholic of Pointe Coupee before moving on to LSUA then back into high school. I think he was at Christian Life for a year before heading down to Berwick and finding success.

Leo is an interesting hire. I was on one of his first teams with the LA Tigers and man was it political even then. He's a solid teacher and big on fundamentals, but I'm not sure what he brings to the table other than being a local, well-known guy. He's certainly too old to want to do this very long. Lots of hours with very little payoff.

I played for his Tigers too when I was younger.

I agree with everything you said.

I’d assume part of the hire is thinking he can retain some of the players that go in town to private or even central private with Wes Theriot over there.. He also has a built in system with the tigers that he can use to build future teams. One thing Leo knows how to do is go out and get the talent.

I’m guessing whoever threw the fit and ran off Forbes has a son that...

Teams with the LA Tigers

So they literally went and got their travel ball coach?

And you guessed wrong. Forbes son plays in the Tiger organization. You obviously do not know his history with Central Athletics nor anything about travel ball.

He doesn’t play with the Tigers. Forbes and McClure’s sons, Trey and Tanna, started and coach a different organization.
