tedstickles...Good job, thanks for posting..now look at the 12 second clip again, (1)Denham coach with the yellow visor turned backwards, (2)an "injured, non-participating" player for Denham (49), again...non participating player on the middle of the field motioning for Central players to come his way so he can hit them or fight them..from what I understand injured or sidelined players are allowed to show support and be on the sidelines but not in arms way of further injury..where is the trainer, where is the coaches protecting this young man, video does not lie, it says it all. Is it the belief of Denham Springs Administration, Coaching Staff and Athletic Trainer to allow non-participating, injuried players on the field to incite fights during games or was he not an eligible player that stepped foot on the field in a game, why is he on the field taunting players, look at the center mark from the view of the camera...if Denham had already ran out and is on the sideline, how did they get to the middle of the field...If Central normal runout AT HOME, is to the middle of the field, who came at who. But now since you want to make an issue..is it in the best interst of an injured player to have Denham coaches, trainers, and those of the sports department on the sideline encourage him as an injured player to participate in threatening maylays such as this..if he had thrown a punch or continued his actions could this have caused further injury to him. Is his insurance company aware of the fact that he was encouraged to participate in a violent act such as he did and the news even called it that. Question now is, was it in the best interest of Denham Springs coaches to allow their players to go to mid-field and interrupt the run in of the Home team and also allow their "injuried, non-participating players" to be on the field trying to start a fight...12 seconds of the entire 2 minutes of more Denham dirty football...simple

False, Central was on Denham's hash mark. Therefore, it was not the middle of the field.

The odasity of a grown male coach of a area team going after these players and yelling obsenities and belitting students from the other team when they did nothing to them.
You just described the entire Sid/Dotson era right there. BTW the Central coach with the gel and spiked up hair that was wearing a visor yelled "F**k you you fat, c**ksucking motherf**ker" across the field at the end of the game. Way to show class there coach.
ETA: My bad, didn't know that flag football game was for cancer awareness. Nothing funny about that.

I'm pretty sure that was a breast cancer awareness event. I don't have a horse in the fight really. I graduated from Central last year and honestly don't care how the team does...last year, that was different haha. Additionally, I have already stated that DHS really didn't do anything out of the norm of us teenagers to be considered a 'classless' school. Central does it. Zachary does it. Catholic does it. Denham does it. It's teenager football/immaturity. It happens at every school, some to a larger extent. That said, you making fun of a breast cancer awareness event reflects very poorly on yourself. I really hope you were laughing at the entertaining play involved in the game (I didn't stay for that so I don't know what it was like) rather than the actual event.

i dont think coach nettles would want his program to act like that.he is a class coach and this is a bitter rivalry. i was not at game wish i was there. i had to go call another game last night and was glad ds won.

Dru Nettles is all class as is the Denham program. Maybe kids acted dumd in an emotional game, but many of the kids on these teams know each other and a lot is always said. Nettles is all class!

You are spewing BS, untruths and exaggerations. Tough kids talk back, get angry and hit harder. Babies whine to mommy and daddy. Central thrives on intimidation, all week leading up to a game, before a game and during a game. Don't come in hear with what your little boy whined about. Central leaves starters in way too long in wins, like last year at Catholic, Zachary,Live oak, Walker, etc. They were the only team who showed no class to Walker and their players talk crap all season. Now they don't like to lose. You scored 9 pts...not a good formula for winning. If you had scored more, you would have won. Oh and good grief, please remove your son from contact sports immediately...you have clearly not prepared him for what it takes!

Report I just got from someone in the field about the end of the game scenario was this:
Dotson came onto the field and after shaking hands and what not, Joey Chutz, a denham coach who played at LA Tech and was drafted by the Jaguars, yelled across the line of kids trying to get his attention, "Way to compete coach!"
Apparently Dotson misheard him and thought he was being sarcastic because Dotson blew up and started yelling something about "threepeat!" (central had won the previous two matchups) and calling Joey and Denham
"a bunch of classless thugs!"
Joey was caught offguard and tried to explain himself but eventually got pissed and defended himself verbally

I hope this was a compliment and not a slam about the education because the latest achievement scores from the Dept of Education show that Zachary and Central are one and five in the state where Livingston is below them in the educational achievement test, scores, and average ACT.
I was mocking you due to the amazing level of stupidity you've displayed in this thread. "Odasity"? Really?
I hope that you're not really a "Profession Educator" as your profile so eloquently states.
