The higher seed will play home in the top 16 to startm with the lower 16 traveling.
then it determines the last one who played at home and won their game, when the second round starts the last one that played away (and won) then gets the home game
unless both where at home and both won, then the higher seed gets the home game.
but eventually a team will have to travel as the bracket shinks....
I hope this is ok and not to confusing

I loved the comments by Central's Coach Dotson in the advocate, it was on point in this game, I couldn't have said it any better....."What a classy game. That's what both of us wanted this rivalry to be. They defended us as well as we defended them."

Well since I was mentioned guess I need to jump in. Last night was a hard fought game on both sides. Zachary D-Line and Secondary fought hard, Central's D-Line, LB's, and secondary fought hard. The offenses on both sides had their work cut out from them with the impeccible Defenses on both sides. Coaches did an awesome job and never before have I seen such fine hospitality at a visiting stadium as I did last night at Zachary. The facilities are top notch and my hats off to Wes Watts and his administration staff and the Security Enforcement staff. I too saw the post and especially the targets made to Central players, this was watched by both administrations and eliminated before the game. I do know that both teams were offered the opportunity to pray together before the game at mid field and those that want to did. I take my hats off to these administrators, coaches, fans on both sides, and players. It was a great game, one of the best I have seen and it was a REAL HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAME FROM START TO FINISH. :geauxtigers: our behind the back pass and Neil's Les Miles fake field goal try...we are even..now lets let that one go to the grave and get on with district and post season playoffs so we both can work toward the Dome, It is in the past. A 5-5A team needs and deserves to be there.

tedstickles...Good job, thanks for posting..now look at the 12 second clip again, (1)Denham coach with the yellow visor turned backwards, (2)an "injured, non-participating" player for Denham (49), again...non participating player on the middle of the field motioning for Central players to come his way so he can hit them or fight them..from what I understand injured or sidelined players are allowed to show support and be on the sidelines but not in arms way of further injury..where is the trainer, where is the coaches protecting this young man, video does not lie, it says it all. Is it the belief of Denham Springs Administration, Coaching Staff and Athletic Trainer to allow non-participating, injuried players on the field to incite fights during games or was he not an eligible player that stepped foot on the field in a game, why is he on the field taunting players, look at the center mark from the view of the camera...if Denham had already ran out and is on the sideline, how did they get to the middle of the field...If Central normal runout AT HOME, is to the middle of the field, who came at who. But now since you want to make an issue..is it in the best interst of an injured player to have Denham coaches, trainers, and those of the sports department on the sideline encourage him as an injured player to participate in threatening maylays such as this..if he had thrown a punch or continued his actions could this have caused further injury to him. Is his insurance company aware of the fact that he was encouraged to participate in a violent act such as he did and the news even called it that. Question now is, was it in the best interest of Denham Springs coaches to allow their players to go to mid-field and interrupt the run in of the Home team and also allow their "injuried, non-participating players" to be on the field trying to start a fight...12 seconds of the entire 2 minutes of more Denham dirty football...simple

I hope this was a compliment and not a slam about the education because the latest achievement scores from the Dept of Education show that Zachary and Central are one and five in the state where Livingston is below them in the educational achievement test, scores, and average ACT.

Yes the DHS players did go to the student section of CHS at halftime when they came out and went to the fence to taunt the students and the coaches didn't do anything about it, till the head coach came out. It was the assistants it seemed that encouraged the negative behavior towards the central players, parents, and students. Not to mention even the visiting players that were from Zachary who were also in attendence at the game, Denham even went after them at the game and told them they were not welcome on the Visitors side....hello, who told Denham they owned anything at Central's Football field....Assitants even desrepected their own head coach when he told them to stop, it was an assitant coach that ran at the Central coaches and players and called them all classless. Way to go Denham coaches!!!!

And where were you....you need to see film and every game, Central always goes to the Center of the field with the American flag it is their normal entry. Look up the legal term intent to harm: Your players came off the sideline from behind the white line, after Denhams run out and they had established their position on the sideline, in a threatening manner they then entered onto the field, (that is intent by the law) and then proceeded towards the opposing team....Your kids broke a young mans leg last year during Freshman ball by "gang" tackling him after the whisle blew, the Denham player then grabbed his leg and twisted it, until it snapped I believe is number was 17 if I remember correctly....yes it snapped (great job), your players spit in my sons face and said they were going to take his knees out from under him and he would never play again, and I am sure you didn't know about the Denham player that spit at the Referee during last nights game and the one lineman that raised his shoulder and arm at the head ref when he tried to get him on his side of the field...who is cheap shooting and classless..penalties are one thing but purposely going after young men to break bones, spit at them, and take knees out to keep them from being able to walk....wow....Keep running your mouth, Denham players have no class what so ever towards anyone, not even the officials. If you don't know the story of the play last year then you don't need to comment. He had the play in his play book when he was in Central and they practiced it when he was the Offensive Coach. He knew it was going to happen, he had no issue with it, so stop trying to justify Denhams dirty football on the field.

zacharytiger, your comments are well spoken and very methodical, this change at times during the offensive sceme does give a different look and one to be reckoned with.

it still doesn't sound right because even at Memorial Stadium the sides are seperated for the most part by a fence area and there where plenty of city police enforcement on both sides in attendance to monitor the game and yet no issues where raised. Central had one side and Catholic had the other. Unless fans sat on the opposite side there would have been no problems. We had friends from Catholic sit on our side but there were no issues at all, so I don't buy it. Of course I was amazed at the flourescent orange students in the black shorts, you could see them all the way over to the Central side, it was like the blue guys. But there are things that are in fun and things that are down right stupid lately. For the most part Catholic and Central players meet at mid field did their hand shake and went their opposing sides for the alma maters, like mature young men. No one ways allowed from the stands to the field, not even the parents where allowed to greet and hug their players, it had to be done from the concrete wall. I did not see any issues other then normal school spirit between the two schools.

well put and simply put, Central didn't take care of business on the field.
I still find it very poor sportsmanship to send teenage players out on the field while the other team is making its normal entrance with the American flag and trying to attack them to start a fight before the game even started.
I found that out of character on Dru Nettles part to encourage his teen age young men to insight an antagonistic, fighting environment towards other teenage young men in this manner.
Is this truly what they are wanting to teach their players (young men) to do, to taunt, threaten and antagonize each other.
One day these young men may work together side by side and what will that do to them in the future.
As adults all those coaches have a responsibility to set the right example and hold their personal hatreds for the other coaches in check, not to insight their players (young people)to do their fighting for them.
It was truly an ugly scene from the stands. Everyone should have known that Denham was going to be trouble when they came in because of all the police enforcement that was with them and Central had to bring in for the game.
To think it all started over the entrance of the American flag on the middle of the field, even before one second came off the clock, and ended with the grown man from the Denham Springs sideline running on the field and getting in the Central coaches face as they were shaking hands and protecting their players from the mayham from the Denham Springs staff. Dru Nettles was even grabbing his coaches and players and telling them to stop but they wouldn't, they had no respect for even their own coach, they were so full of hatred for those teenage young men on the field. Sad, Sad night in High School Football.

Quote: Central on the other hand had a bunch of tools come and start taunting all the students when they walked out the game last week
Last week you were in Zachary and from what I understand you had to enter and exit seperate from the Zachary side, and Central was where, yes at Memorial stadium at the Catholic game so how can they be in Denham as you stated "last week". It sounds like you got something mixed up there.....

Speedy are you smoking something..just kidding but where did the coaches come in????? These where parents of Central students that were having to deal with upset students because the fans and students from Denham in the stands were verbally belitting and berating Central student workers. Hello, it went beyond the field to those students working for the organizations to provide services for the visiting fans. Man did you miss that?? Maybe everyone should just block off Denhams side and give them port a potties until they find some maturity and social skills on politeness.

Well I guess when two Offensive players move to reposition themselves after being set, especially at the same time it would be called an illegal motion or an illegal shift????

Well radio only can say what they see and not what is real. Sometimes it is best to give it at face value and then get the truth from those that were there. That is just media. It happens all the time.

Of course when Central ran out as they always do the Coaches from Denham and their players ran out to the middle of the field from the sidelines and tried to start a fight before the game every started. They had already ran out and went to the sidelines and then they walk out and try to get in the middle of the field and the run out of the Central team. But I think the stupidiest move was the corner who ran to the Central sideline after one play and started blowing kisses at the coaches and players and then was patting his butt while he ran across the field back the Denham Springs side....or maybe the 5 male students in yellow Denham Springs shirts that scared the 13 yr old and 15 yr old girls from Central that were carrying programs back to the Central side and they students walking with Canes Limeade to see if anyone would like to buy one...Since when is the Visitors Side of any stadium owned by Denham Springs and it is their side to claim and they order the Home team students to "go back where they belong" Talk about sportmanship and appropriate behavior, Denham was nothing but white trash tonight on and off the field in the stands.

Read my post about what the Denham coach said, I have a witness that saw and heard the coach from Denham, thank God my son was being protected and shielded by his Coach from Central. The odasity of a grown male coach of a area team going after these players and yelling obsenities and belitting students from the other team when they did nothing to them. How about the coach in the gray shirt and khaki pants running on the field from the press box and slapping helmets of players from Denham and yelling at Central players as he passed them going to the other side of the field.

Guess you should have been there, Denham coaches where yelling at Central Players and Coaches telling them there were classless M.F.'s and the Central Coaches where shielding their players tell them to take their team and leave their field. Guess you should have been on the field, I was and I heard everything even those 15, 16, and 17 yr old boys that heard the Denham Coaches yelling that they were classless and worthless players. How about that one...

Clean game, yeah right the Zachary players where they and several in Letterman's Jackets got kicked off the Denham Springs side for being antagonistic and cheering against Central and then when they left they had to be escorted by Sheriffs Deputies again because they walked through the grandstands with the number one finger up to the families and fans of the players. Then refusing to leave when asked they rushed to the fence to lean over and point their number one finger in the face of players and cheerleaders of Central. That is no class and lack of dignity.
