What in the world is 'assisting the runner'? I'm not questioning the legitimacy of the call, but what does this mean? When an OL or someone else pushes the RB in from behind or something?

It blows my mind why people who have graduated from college (assuming you actually did graduate from college) still care this much about college athletics. Unless you have kids who play on the team, why do you care at all?

Remember the "Bush Push" in USC against Notre Dame? It's when an offensive player pulls/pushes the runner into the endzone.
