Has anyone heard an explamation of why CBS would want to air Alabama’s destruction Tennessee over a much more competitive game in Baton Rouge?

Can they make a school change more than one game time at home?

LSU does not want to play home games at 2:30. They've made that very clear, and I believe there is an understanding that CBS can only do it to them a select amount of times.

One of the better things alleva has done, though I think it is less about 230 games and more about 11am.

I think LSU-ole miss would have been 11am if it was in Oxford.

1.) We don’t want a 2:30 kickoff.
2.) Tennessee vs. bama is a pretty big rivalry game. (Albeit one sided)
3.) We don’t want a 2:30 kickoff!!!

They don’t want the same team 3 weeks in a row.

Too bad because 2:30 kickoff especially when hot are a huge advantage for LSU due to the layout of Tiger Stadium. Not to mention the crowd stays longer for day than night games.

Would also be LSU 3/4 weeks because Bama is going to be the 7 pm game

Complaining about a 6 pm kickoff is silly

Because Tennessee and Bama still control everything that happens in the SEC

LSU doesn't want 2:30 games if possible. CBS probably didn't want LSU on for a 3rd week in a row. I'd say both sides are probably happy it's a 6:00 pm kickoff

The league announced this last week after LSU lost to Florida, with #2 UGA on the horizon.

Networks have to take chances sometimes on what will be the better matchup.

A lot of LSU fans hate that start time, me personally I love it but I’m getting older and don’t attend as many games as I used to.
