What happened to him, and Morvant the QB?
Jacobs was an absolute stud. He seriously looked like Michael Vick on film. He didnt play QB against us, but he did have like a 50 yard TD reception on us.
I remember hearing that they were all mentally challenged, literally, and that some of them had to go the JUCO route.

fricking stacked.
We have nothing on that, but 4 of our RBs all went D1 as well
the common denominator here is that both squads choked
Rivals.com had up #39 in the country before the acadiana game. SI.com/rise had us as the #10 ranked team in the south before that game. And we made USA-Todays honorable mention before the acadiana semi-final game.

As an alum and former player I would gladly pony up some money to get a new coach. Been due for a change at the top for a LONG time.
My pick to replace Weiner would be Sid, but that's just me.

Honestly, if the line would have been a bit bigger, we would have stomped all teams with our offense. Minor was better than Dunn in high school IMO. Saw Dunn and played with Minor. ETA
I think we started #14 in USA Today.
The defense was just too small to get West Monroe and their steroid users off the field. I will never root for that program.

Ah, yes. He committed to Texas with Applewhite. WR/CB. We were so stacked. When did you graduate from CHS?

I'm out of the loop, but why is this so out of the realm?
Ran into Sid at Whole Foods a couple of weeks ago and if the offer were presented to him, he'd be all over it.

Donnie Jones. Amazes me that dumb frick is worth millions. And I was friends with him.
What are your initials? Did you play football?

Of course he would be.

He just doesn't cut it on the teacher level for the administration from what I heard. Though I could be wrong. He sure has flaked out a bit in keeping a job. I realize he has issues with his son FWIW.

You kicked? Gonna have to go whip out the program. I can't think of who our kickers were besides Donnie.
Oh, and that's another D1 and NFL player on that team.

He's a coach. How hard can it be to stick him teaching a PE class? Hell, how would that be any different than Weiner?
quote:IIRC, he's got 4 children. 2 boys have autism. That's not some sort of damning issue that should affect his ability/worthiness of the opportunity to coach at CHS.
I realize he has issues with his son FWIW
If there's any issue with Sid from the admin's standpoint, it has to be something other than that BS.

What was your #? Looking at the 96/97 program, and man I was a good looking kid back in the day. And thinner.
