DL and LBs alignment has changed and the backers or safeties don't jam the slots anymore, they line up 3 and 3 from te tackle or tight end. And that equals more easy completions

Bourgeois. BTW, You seriously underestimate the 96 team. I saw both teams play and you couldn't stop Minor-Boone-Shanklin. If you could Applewhite would beat you through air. He was by far the smartest QB CHS has ever had. Line Minor up in the slot and your team would have been toast.

It was 3 x 3 or 4 x 4 in garidels system. Jamming the receivers wasn't as effective as it seemed. The NBs would just flash straight to the flats after the Jam..never rode the receiver to the curl zone. Opposing offenses knew the weak spot on our D was in betweeen the FS and LBs. Teams would just run seams on us. Our NBs would break to the flats even if noone was there.
