I heard some absurd stat that we are 12-3 when Marc shoots 15+ shots.

I was more amazed he has only shot 15+ shots 15 total times in his career (3 times this year.)

I could not have asked for a better start from my Rockets. We look incredible. Currently up 104-78 against Boston. Terrence Jones looks to have taken a huge step, Ariza has been the perfect fit, Harden has showed up defensively, and the bench has been surprisingly great. Obviously it's early, but this is a fun team to watch.

Yes, but it's the NBA, and we are the Rockets. We lose to bad teams on the reg. And it's how we are winning that has been impressive. Like I said, James Harden is playing with a huge chip on his shoulder.

Happy to see some these games get close. League Pass was not to helpful at all about 30 minutes ago.

Yeah I wish Marc would shoot more. You can tell he has a good offensive game he just doesn't seem to use it that much

The Grizz coach apparently snuck a bunch of Larry Bird highlights onto his iPad during training camp to show him you can still be a great facilitator while being a big time scorer. Him dropping a bunch of weight obviously helps as well.

His battle against Big Al was like the only bright spot in tonight's disgusting game.

I've been so impressed with Harden's defense so far. It's only been 3 games against the bottom of the league and he's been ripped to shreds for the last year for his bad D so you'd expect to see improvement, but like you said, he's actually been really good at defense so far. Like not just not a bad defenser, but he's actually been a plus defender. It's crazy. We'll see if he can keep it going through 82 games, though. It's easy to play hard at the start of the season against bad teams when your pride has been questioned, it's another thing to bring it every night in the grind of the NBA season.

and I think they get the 76ers next

I wish the pels could've started out with a schedule like that while our guys learn to gel and monty tries to figure out his rotations. we almost pulled a W out of our arse against Dallas tonight but came up short

Was it a good game? I'm tempted to watch it sense I saw that it is already archived on League pass.

we sucked in the 1st half. 3rd quarter erased a 14 pt deficit and AD went god mode. Gordon played the worst game in the history of the sport and our bench outside of Ryno was non existent. jrue and reke went semi god mode. entertaining 2nd half to watch. i'd skip the 1st half and enjoy the GOAT in the 2nd

Yup. Then @Miami, followed by San Antonio and Golden State at home. If we go undefeated through that, I will be obnoxious.

Kidding right? Winning is expected for my team we don't get too excited about early season wins.

Yeah, but it's the NBA, and shite happens. The Jazz are about to beat the Suns tonight. Lakers almost beat the Clippers. Lakers and Jazz was a road back-to-back for the Rockets. Bad teams, but road back-to-backs are never a gimme.

And they aren't just beating these teams.. they're blowing them out and it's because of their defense.

Last year the Rockets got beat by the shitty Lakers and 76ers very early in the season and often times didn't put away shitty teams. So they're playing pretty well right now.

But yeah, as far as NBA schedules go, so far it's been about as soft as you can get. I'm just happy they're dominating those games.
