The way he answered the question and questions after makes me think he didn’t understand exactly what she was asking.

The timeout was called with 4 seconds on the playclock. The big run is what changed things

How did it change their strategy? They had been running Jacobs. After the timeout they ran Jacobs again, basic run up the middle. It's when he gained ten yards on that run that the strategy changed.

I'm not buying that they would give a divisional opponent a free pass.

Maybe they wouldn’t have kicked the field goal and just kneeled it

The chargers called timeout with like 38 seconds left on 3rd down.

It didn't. They ran right up the gut.

And they get to avoid KC with the win.

To me, it's worth the 2% chance of a block returned for a TD in exchange to go to Cincinnati over KC.

But it wouldn’t have risked a field goal getting blocked

WTF kind of tweet is that. Journalist are the worse. Here is additional quotes by Carr.

Carr: "Yeah, it definitely did obviously but we knew no matter what, we didn’t want a tie. We wanted to win… I was even texting with Aaron Rodgers this morning…"

I understand that but when they called the timeout with 38 seconds on the game clock the raiders thought they were trying to save time to get the ball back and try to score.

Absolutely no one thought that. You don't wait until 4 seconds on the play clock to call a timeout if you want the ball back.

It was a 3rd down that if given up, likely meant an L (which was the case).

I don't understand why this is so hard.

"A-Rod, you know those loser Colts and that bitch Wentz are gonna choke today but we're definitely playing for the win tonight no matter what."

"I hear ya, Derek...so, when you say he's a bitch, do you mean he's a power bottom?"

"Bro, what?"

"Haha just playin' around. Good luck bro. kik"

They had to run a play. The play clock was at 4 seconds. If you kneel it there, the Chargers call a time out on 4th down with 35 seconds left. Do you try a 57 yard field goal in that situation, where if you miss the Chargers have the ball at midfield?

Raiders were in the shotgun. They're weren't going to kneel it.
