Talking about the next play. Instead of kicking field goal

Head coach said the same thing. They were thinking about just running out the clock, by running the ball, but SD took a TO and the next run out them in FG range so they kicked it.

SD coach is an idiot anyways. Not sure if he's playing analytics or what but going for it on 4th and 2 on his own 18, down only 3 with 8minutes left in the 3rd was the dumbest thing ever.

So they were going to run the ball, but they changed their strategy to...running the ball?

You think 1 out of 50 FGs get blocked and returned for a td?

That would mean it happens roughly 1-2 times every nfl Sunday

You don’t call a TO to conserve time with 4 seconds left on the play clock.

There’s 38 seconds left when the TO was called. Raiders were going to run it up the middle. If no TO is called, raiders run it up the middle with 34 seconds left and get ten yards. They call TO and kick a fg Bc they want to win and avoid the chiefs.

Instead the TO is called, the raiders run the ball up the middle with 38 seconds left. Get ten yards, call TO and kick a fg

The Raiders are an overly aggresive team. They are the team that goes for 2 for the win. They throw the ball and go for the first down instead of running/burning more clock. They came out that drive throwing the ball then suddenly everything changed. They started running the ball and burning clock. It seemed obvious to me they went into conservative mode. Issue was the Chargers just coukdnt stop them.

They had to run a play. The play clock was at 4 seconds. If you kneel it there, the Chargers call a time out on 4th down with 35 seconds left. Do you try a 57 yard field goal in that situation, where if you miss the Chargers have the ball at midfield?

Yea the Chargers aint calling a timeout if Raiders kneel it they know that a tie and they go to playoffs. No way in hell they calling a timeout.
