I live in nola, we had protests every night for like three weeks and there was virtually zero violence.
We are going on 50+ days in an already liberal city. Think about that. Our mayor is out there getting gassed so he can win governor next go around..its ridiculous really

This thread is the very definition of virtue signaling
You silly progressives always fall on your faces trying to appropriate the labels used against you.

As for college football, I hate it now. It's all "muh SEC" and fans who bought a stupid hat with a pig or a T on it at Wal-Mart.
I mean, we can't all be diehard southern mississippi fans

So why is it ok to say "Make America Great Again" but not "Black Lives Matter"?
Is this honestly what people think this is about? It has nothing to do with saying "Black Lives Matter". It's about the unorganized shite show that has caused unrest in the nation and done little to nothing actually positive for the black community.
With the riots in poor communities around the country it has probably done the opposite. Where the frick have you been? It's not about saying a phrase. It's about a corporation shamelessly pandering to organization that can't live up to it's own name.
If they want to do that, so be it. It's their sport. I'm not gonna pay to watch it though.

I don’t like how politics has crept into every aspect of our culture. But I’m not going to stop watching sports because they have become political. I’m sure they’ve even made golf political in some way.
Ignore the political pandering and enjoy the great game of baseball.

All of you that say you're "done" with the NFL, NBA, MLB, etc are still going to watch. Maybe not for a little while, but you're going to.
You wanna bet ?

Just use reddit if you want to watch. You can still watch every game without financially supporting MLB

I'm just curious, would you react the same way if those leagues put #MAGA on the courts and fields?
That's a divisive political message as well, is it not?
Oh, absolutely. I object to any divisive political message being associated with any professional sport. The vast majority of us watch the sport for the sport, and not the political message. The presentation of these divisive political messages is disrespectful to many of the fans who would like to watch the sport for the sport.

So again I ask, were you mad when MLB allowed Trump to throw the first pitch in a MAGA hat?
That divisive political message was disrespectful, right?

Quick question... do you support Build The Wall? Just a yes or no
Of course I do. Why wouldn't I support it? Do you have an issue with national sovereignty?

How is wanting to make America great a divisive message?

Define virtue signaling
Because telling everyone how you are boycotting something because you don’t agree with their beliefs is 100% virtue signaling
