Cam is just a bitch. That is really the only stat that matters with him.

It was a really bad season for sure. Footwork and mechanics were horrible

In other news the Saints had the #5 rated QB yet still blew arse. Louisiana paper bag sales bout to skyrocket.

Cam's won rookie of the year, he's been first-team all-pro, he's won league MVP and he's led the Panthers to 15-1 and the Super Bowl appearance, other than his passer rating and aggregate completion percentage which is below the league average and 35 fumbles how can people argue he's overrated? He's not Brady, Rodgers or Brees but all he needs to accomplish is a Super Bowl and he'll have accomplished it all.

No doubt he is a great player, unfortunately he is missing a very important piece,

Heart.

I think he's got plenty of heart. He thrives on emotion. What he needs is the maturity to harness it and persevere with his team when things aren't going well.

Throw out all the stats you want, it won't keep him from being one of the most annoying, loud mouth douchebags in the NFL. Dab on that super bowl loss.

I don't think he's overrated.

Not many think he's a top 10 qb in the league anymore, partly because his defense can't protect the offenses shortcomings anymore and his o line went from bad to worse.

Total QBR should favor him and he's been in the top ten I think three times in his career.

He is what he is at this point unless that shoulder injury is worse than what it should be.

Totally the same NFL... He's WAS way overrated.

Now people know he's average at best over the long haul

What does he need to do to NOT be overrated according to you? He's won rookie of the year, achieved first-team all-pro, won league MVP and led his team to a Super Bowl appearance. All he needs to do is win a Super Bowl and he'll have achieved it all.

Behind only Dan Marino in total touchdowns in first 6 seasons and ahead of Manning.
But this board tells me he sucks and is overrated

56% of his TDs are rushes of 3 yards or less That's great if you're not actually defiecient as a passer

I mean Lendale White scored 15 TDs (13 TDs from 3 yards or less!) in '08 while running for 773 yards at less than 4 yards a pop. I ain't gonna tell you he's a better player than Adrian Peterson and his 1760 rushing yards and 10 TD, which included multiple long runs

He needs to be relatively accurate. I cannot take any qb seriously until they hit 64% or so consistently. The first few years of their career I'm indifferent, but when they're vets and talking about elite I would expect better.
