I didn't make up anything. I just said I don't think it would be as big of a deal. All of you are mad about that for some reason.

Possibly. He also may never play in the Super Bowl again. NFL is a crazy league

And it's a very big deal, it was the super bowl

Are you sure it is not the one trying to argue with everyone on all sides of this issue that is the mad one?

Good point, it is difficult being so objectively correct that both cam haters and cam lovers hate you.

I don't think it's us that are mad. I don't like the panthers and I wanted them to lose. I don't like Cam. I hate that hillbilly Jared Allen.

Cam pussed out at the most critical moment in all of sports, and then made it worse by storming off stage like a child, and then admitted that he pussed out. It is what it is, and it confirms everything his "haters" have been saying for a while.

Highly doubt that happens.

I can easily see why someone would doubt it but there's no questioning that he has improved in that area since entering the league.

If this disaster of a game wasn't a wake-up call for him then nothing will be. We are in a position to make another SB run next year (hopefully can retain Norman). That window won't be open for very long.

It's not bullshite. Tell who he owes what and to who???? Should he tell his teammates he is sorry ???? That would be internal and a wise move. But anyone else???? Nope.

It really is true that it doesn't matter. He doesn't actually have to grow up or make himself more likeable or anything. He can just keep on being douchebag Cam and the breaks could go their way and they could win a Super Bowl. That's what can happen when you're a physical Superman.

His father must be a real POS because he has that attitude you usually only see from kids without a father

Pfffth, at least Jefferson manned up after he turned the ball over. Broke the dude's leg.

Has he really though? Or has he just not been losing? I lean towards the latter, as he showed his true colors yet again in the waning moments of the game, and the post game antics. It's easy to seem matured, fun, entertaining and all that good stuff when you're literally not ever losing in a whole season, especially for someone who has the personality we know Cam has(super-high highs and super-low lows. In other words, a poor sport). Then when he faces a big loss, the Cam we've all known came back out.

maybe not but not recovering the fumble made the game all but unwinnable

How about this Cam:

"I was about to dive when I saw others coming out the corner of my eye. At that split second my instincts told me to stop to avoid injury. Looking at the tape, it's obvious it looks bad and intentional. I assure you it was not."

Owner, teammates (especially guys like Davis), Panther fans, NFL fans, etc. You know, the people who allow his industry to exist and provide him an amazing paycheck. The workers he pay out the arse to support him, watch him play, and who's kids look up to him.

The "it didn't cost us the game" argument would infuriate me if said by Brees. As the QB, as the leader, comes the responsibility of carrying not only the joy and credit of Wins on your shoulder, but also taking the blame for losses.

I agree that Cam didn't cost them the game. It's a team sport. I also think he let himself get frustrated and it impacted his game, effort and decision making ability. That comment about then fumble not costing them the game is pathetic and a loser mentality. That fumble essentially closed the door on any chance they had, or he had, to overcome the mistakes his team had the previous 55 minutes. Cam has had the luxury the last 2 years of having a defense that takes a lot of pressure of his shoulders, and an offensive line that really gelled and played well starting at the end of last season.

I LOVE what Cam does in his community and off the field 99% of the time. This was an opportunity for him to grow as a QB and a person, and he appears to be pissing it away and reverting back to college and early NFL Cam.

Winning is easy, losing sucks. His leaving the press conference over Harris's words should make him think twice about his actions during games, like taking pictures on the sidelines with time on the clock.

I have zero problems with his first downs or even his TD dances. I agree, if you don't like it, stop him. But that is a two way street, and he should act like a professional and a role model (part of his check imo) when he faces adversity.

/end rant
