No not really. But it figues people would ridicule a statement posted on cam Newton from smeone who likes Alabama.
In anycase, you could make the case that in my lmited views of the panthers, ive on;y seen Newton start strong, get caught trying to do something beyond him, and throw a back breaking INT to seal a game. Its just my view that jerks who dislike untraditional QBs are generally right in the long term, despite how wrong you might want them to be. Though to be honest, Ive never questioned his work ethic like some people. I just dont think he will live up to being #1 overall, not that he cant be decent.

So if Cam's interceptions are holding him back from becoming better than average (
) What did you think of Peyton Manning's rookie year?

He's right. But the bruhs in the league are gonna get on his arse for throwing other players under the bus. He'll have some splaining to do

You think he'll develop like Manning did?
Im saying that he wont be the elite player associated with a #1 selection. It seems I might be the only one who thinks so.

Even if he doesn't develop at all his current production is pretty good for the 1st overall pick. Besides there is zero reason to assume he won't get better.

He broke all kinds of records as a rookie and you still call him a bust. It was a dumbass post.

SFP is mad.

And he is still trying to defend it, instead of just admitting a really stupid statement. He must be trying to convince himself he isn't retarded.

Not a Cam fan because I think he was paid at Auburn but there is a lot of truth to what he says and I respect him for speaking his mind. JM and to a lesser degree VY wasted their opportunity and Cam seems to be more focused and a harder worker than them. He did much better in the NFL than I expected and like him or not, you have to admit he at least thus far appears to be intent on generating a return on the Panthers investment.

Hmmmmm.....he could have studied a little harder instead of cheating at UF and he could have got a summer job to pay for a new laptop instead of stealing one. The nerve of some people to question the character or work ethic of a 21-year old before investing tens of millions of dollars in a guaranteed contract.
Yep, he was charged with receiveing stolen property when he was 18. He sure was. He also was given a chance to redeem himself in the eyes of the court and, after doing so, all charges were dropped. That is the only thing you think you know about Newton that is factual.
He cheated at UF? Oh, you mean the Evan's article that said he did. You know, the Evan's article that said he did because Evan's was told from a source not to be named that he did. You know, the same article that UF disputed? The same article that the UF Student Council would have had to have been involved if anything in the article was accurate but knew nothing? That article?
Not everything you read on the interwebs is fact.
