Are there people seriously downvoting the posts sending good thoughts to Cam hoping he's not seriously injured? Wow. If anyone wishes harm on someone because they talked shite in a football game, they are the real pieces of shite and should be kicked in the nuts.

For some reason there are a handful of Saints/LSU fans who are just unhinged about Newton. Even the Alabama fans don't hate him like those posters do.

I don't really get it. I mean, Cam is smug and unlikable to some, beloved to others. I can totally see how he'd irritate the shite out of a rival fan. But there is zero evidence that he is a bad human being (seems to be a pretty good one, these days), so I don't know why anyone would wish him true harm.

Perhaps on the field. There are pretty much no reports of issues in the locker room on account of Cam, and everyone I've heard of encountering him says he's a nice guy. He is active in the community and has reached out to people he can help. He surprised a lot of people by staying involved at Auburn and continuing his education. I see your point about smugness, but I don't get the "unlikeable human being" at all.
