only 14% of Angel Reese's rebounds come from her own misses.

It’s actually about 1/5 of her offensive rebounds lol

She’s also 39th out of 41 players on shooting percentage inside 8ft. YIKES

but to suggest Reese is dime-a-dozen is remarkably narrow-minded & dismissive.

Actually she really is. League is filled will layup shooters and is what makes the entire league boring as frick and unwatchable. She is definitely close to a dime a dozen. More of the exact same shite.

If mens basketball was a layup league a 3 point shooting guard would be a difference maker in terms of marketability. Clark is a clear difference maker while Reese isn’t.

To top it all off.. Reese has brought racism into this numerous times in college and now the pros. Not saying you need to take her poster down in your bedroom. You do you.

dumb take. she's leading the WNBA in rebounds as a ROOKIE and set a record for consecutive double doubles.

it's literally the opposite of "a dime a dozen" because noone else has ever done it.

You are missing the point. Reese could have done that without Clark in the league and viewership would have gone up exactly zero. No one cares. So she averages another 2 rebounds a game., or whatever. No one would give a shite.

That’s a dime a dozen from an interest in the league perspective. Think what you want.

So you think people are tuning in to watch caitlin Clark in games she isn't even playing in?

Damn people must be pretty dumb.

next you'll try to tell us Jokic sucks because he gets his own rebounds sometimes.

Jokic is 3rd in career true shooting percentage, which is incredible given that he's an offensive hub and scores from all 3 levels.

Meanwhile this is Reese:

39th out of 41 players on shooting percentage inside 8ft.

Very stupid comparison.

Reese barely moves the needle for attendance in one of the biggest sports markets out there lol

The Las Vegas Aces, reigning champs average ticket price is $15.

When Clark came to town, the average ticket price was $115.

When the Washington Mystics hosted Clark, they sold single tickets for $600.

Which has never happened before because of half empty stadiums. There is no Reese effect as much as she plots to make it happen. Imagine how the NBA wouldn't have grown if men were so desperately catty over Michael Jordan. People weren't lining up around the block to see Reese at Pete Maravich Assembly Center like they were Clark, even at away games. Reese is a make believe adversary in talent and draw.

The Sky are second in average road ticket secondary price at $115.72 and lead the WNBA in average home ticket resale price at $129.93. The Sky’s home price so far this season is nearly three times greater than the team’s resale value in 2023 at $46.04.

lol. You keep bringing up random shite to try and inflate Reese’s supposed popularity draw

She’s barely moving the needle when you look at the big picture

It's not my fault you are in denial.

you somehow wanna attribute Chicago Sky home ticket sales to Caitlin Clark in games she isn't even playing in.

Fever tickets Wednesday are going for $17 right now. Sky tickets start at $89 at the same exact time.

I never said any of that lol

I’m simply pointing out that Reese is barely moving the needle in terms of increased wnba attendance and viewership

Indiana fever average attendance is 16k
Chicago is 9k

Caitlin Clark’s least attended away game this season is 9k while chicagos least attended away game is 3k

Yea Reese is sure packing those arenas lol

You gathered this from your extensive knowledge of the WNBA.

probably why she has those doubles

She averages fewer than 5 offensive rebounds per game. BTW

Fun fact:

Angel Reese still leads the WNBA in offensive rebounds even if we removed all rebounds on a players own missed shot

haha there goes that narrative. not like the jealous haters will let something silly like facts get in the way though.

When Caitlin goes on the road, most teams have to rent out a real arena to accommodate the ticket demand. They’ll move from venues that seat 5-10k to full scale, NBA/NHL arenas that seat 20k. There are zero teams having to do that for Reese because there simply isn’t any extra ticket demand for her games.

One (of countless) example’s from a few weeks back, the Washington team hosted back to back home games against the Chicago Sky and the Indiana Fever. The attendance for the Chicago game was 10k and the attendance for the Indiana game was over 20k.

And I answered I did not know, since you were trying for a got you moment, I assumed you knew. I guess not.

who’s ignoring turnovers? I’m literally keeping the conversation focused on turnovers

So what is the answer then, I did not ask how it affected her team, so I do not plan to do the legwork.

what? Washington literally did exactly that for Reese.

they moved the June 6th Chicago Sky vs Mystics game to the Capital One Arena because their other arena only seats 4,200. 10,000 showed up for the Reese game.

They weren't able to do it for the June 14th game because there was already a concert booked at Capital One for that night (it was a friday night)

Ok cool so now that we are done with bringing up things that don’t matter to the original comment:

HER court vision, passing and shooting is the closest thing we've seen of a female Bird
