Grade 1 calf strain is a couple of weeks with treatment and rehab. Grade 3 can be several months.

It doesn't matter if its grade 1 strain or complete tear...calf strains bother you for a long time. This will impact him this season without a doubt. He was already wearing a sleeve over that leg, so something must have already been bothering his leg. Go ahead and rush him back and end up like Kevin Durant. The reality is this...his preseason is done and maybe a good portion of the first half of the season will be impacted, whether he ends up missing any regular season games or not, he will be hampered by it. Calf strains are a pain to deal with....

Cheap arse Cincy ownership

“Cheap arse Cincy ownership” is about to give Burrow the biggest contract in nfl history. But sure, I bet they’re stoked to see an injury to their franchise cornerstone

Just a bit frustrating. Burrow seems like a good dude, but he’s been a MSB punching bag for basically 4-5 years now just bc he went to LSU.

Since when has Burrow been a “punching” bag on the msb???

they will never shed that moniker from casual fans, but they aren't cheap anymore now that they have a contender and franchise qb.

with that said, tee higgins probably goes elsewhere and they will get called cheap again, even though every other team would probably have to do the same thing

Burrow will not take a snap until Game 1 I'd assume and will be getting around the clock rehab care.

I think Tee has the potential to be a legit WR1 if he goes somewhere else.

No disrespect, but no shite man.

Higgins is a top 15-20 guy easily.

Sounds like a grade 2 sprain

While I agree rushing him back with the season over 6 weeks away would be stupid, and that he could have some residual effects of this into the first part of the season, comparing Durant and Burrow is silly. An NBA player and NFL QB use their lower legs in a totally different manner.

Some are just a little too insecure for sure. Just like every fan base.

I'm pretty sure the LSU fans that believe Burrow has been a "punching bag" are the same ones that call him "Big dick Joe" and see nothing at all strange about it.

He played 16 games out of 16. And every playoff game last year.
