Y'all are becoming like the Yankees with Judge.
Last night had absolutely nothing to do with the Chiefs and y'all can't help saying "But look at us!!!"

At least he still has all that Home Alone money to fall back on.

And people wonder why everyone thinks the chiefs are insufferable

Cinci sucks. No defense, average O-line, basically wasting the talent they have in Burrow. These teams that get a great young QBs and don't spend to build around them are more the norm in the NFL.

They can't afford to spend any money because they used it all on Macaulay Culkin.

Burrow didn't give up 38 points.

Idk.
it was 21-13 at half.
Joe went out in the second half and scored TDs on every single drive of the second half. and he scored under 2 minutes on 2 of those drives.
at some point, defense needs to get a stop.
instead they let Washington score every drive while easton 20 minutes of the clock.

Yeah, it hasn’t been my impression that the Bengal’s defense sucks. I think people in this thread are a bit misguided. It’s not about what Burrow or their Bengals defense didn’t do. It was about was Jayden Daniel’s and Washington’s offense DID do. Their defense didn’t get a stop and force a punt either. But they were able to score touchdowns inside the red zone. And that was mainly due to Jayden.
So maybe less criticism of the Bengals and more praise for the Commanders is the better take for this game.

Hard to say what’s going on with his wrist. He may never be 100% again.

Doesn't help when the owner is cheap and won't get better defensive players. They let Bates go, and a few others walk. Burrow can't do it alone, but when your defensive is at the bottom, it makes winning games very difficult. He changed the culture, made them relevant, again. It's too bad the owner is a total penny pinching idiot.

This is the part of the movie where Joe comes home (New Orleans Saints) a second time.

This makes no sense. Are the Bengals significantly under the cap? Under it at all? You can argue that they are paying the wrong players, but if they are spending at the cap every year, they’re not “saving” any money. There, anyway. Maybe at some other places in the organization, but not players’ salary.

Mike Brown has NEVER signed top free agents and been committed to winning a ring. They've had some pretty good players throughout the years but have always let those good ones sign elsewhere for more money. The Rooneys in Pittsburgh have been frugal. However they build through the draft and player development. How many times has Cincinnati whiffed on top picks in the upper first round? Akili Smith, Klinger, Big Daddy Wilkinson to name a few. It's an offensive minded league, but at some point a franchise must invest in some defensive talent via free agency. Cincinnati has and will never do that.

They're paying him $55 million a year to be the guy. They could have done well building a defense if they weren't saddled with that contract.
