Buffalo was going to cut him if he didn't take less money. He didn't want to, so Buffalo told him to look around and see if anyone else wanted him for the same amount, and not one team did.
So he came back to Buffalo and took less money. Their coaches do a good job covering up some of his deficiencies. Plus they have a good running game and defense.
He's a shitty starting QB.

How many times have we seen where they slo-mo a catch and the ball barely moves in someone's arms and it's ruled a no catch.
That ball not only moved, it moved while it was trapped by the ground.
