Lol, he didn’t get targeted much in their first game and he probably already wants out.
Beckham has 10 targets. Most of them just weren’t catchable.

Probably also Dallas
They’ve already got Cooper and CeeDee Lamb. They don’t need OBJ and OBJ probably wouldn’t be thrilled with the lack of targets he would get there.

Which teams besides the Patriots have a shitload of cap space and are willing to deal with his crap?

With Washington starting out a game up in the division and the front 7 looking elite, I could see that making sense to pair him with Mclaurin.
Baltimore is a locker room that could handle him

I'm sure they could fetch a lot better, but as I said if they are looking to just get rid of him like it's being reported then....
Well first off, the report is from Mike Franseca, which means it’s completely made up
Secondly even MF didn’t say they were looking to dump him for nothing
Thirdly, it would be awful GMing if they didn’t call around to see the best offer they could if he were on the block.

What's your point? It's a meh receiver room after that. Would you prefer OBJ over Calvin Ridley right now? Because he makes it work with Julio. Having two good receivers isn't a bad thing.
Money wise it doesn’t make a ton of sense for Arizona. They’ve got plenty of WR talent. They need Oline

quote:I was just pointing that out to you, brah, I mean you were going on about Beckham jr being an upgrade over Kirk and how it would be a benefit to him at this stage in his career to work with Larry Fitzgerald. You were talking like you wasn't even aware that Hopkins was already there and working with Fitzgerald. But if you're saying Odell can fit in with all of them then I say BS on that because it'll never happen. For reasons like wildtigercat93 just gave.

Bengals should be actually picking up that phone.

I’m not sure that they will get much. Obviously, Cooks is worthless from a trade perspective but I don’t see the Browns getting more than a 2nd.
I didn’t say they’d get a kings ransom, just that they would get better than Cooks
Cooks himself just went for a 2nd rounder. Plenty of teams would be able to either put together a nice package of picks head lined by a 2nd rounder or a team looking to compete this year could throw a 1st their way.
Pats have the cap space and capital. I’d look out for them around the deadline. Think BB wants to see what this roster is before he goes all in on it
Odell has openly lobbied to get sent to NE multiple times, but then again Brady was a big part of that.

I already know that now, I know what Francesca said, but what I said was just for pure speculation if it were true that they wanted to get rid of him like people were saying. That's why I never believe anything until it comes straight from the horses mouth because there's so much BS out there, you just don't know.

Who the hell wants OBJ at this point

Catch got to his head
The catch happened his rookie season. He had 2800 yards receiving over the next two years following "the catch." What happened is he got hurt and missed most of the season in 2017 and then returned to the Giants in 2018 when Eli was on his way out and was on his last legs as an NFL QB. then he goes to Cleveland, and we've all seen how inept Mayfield, that offense, and that organization are. He still managed 1000 yard seasons his last in NY and his first in Cleveland last year. But if Mayfield doesn't figure out how to at least be average, it doesn't matter who they have at receiver. There's no excuse for him being as bad as he's been with the skill guys they have on offense.

4th round pick at best is what I would give up as a receiving team.

He was targeted 10 times, so targets wasn't the issue. He had one bad drop at the end of the 1st half that would have picked up a 1st down, but Baker couldn't hit the broad side of a barn that entire game. He overthrew Beckham by 5 yards on several throws.

I mean if you ignore the 3 drops, the offensive pass interference, the offensive fask mask, and the illegal touching of a forward pass
OBJ was still not great.
No one is gonna want to pay anything but bottom dollar for him.

Green Bay needs to make this happen today.

Meh. He’s still one of the more talented dudes in the league and is only 27 and his salary is actually a steal at 10.5 mil right now for this season, locked up below market until 2024 as well. And his Browns career hasn’t been amazing by any stretch, but he’s also cut down on a lot of the on field antics that got him shipped out of New York in the first place
“Bottom dollar” would still be a 2nd rounder or 3rd rounder paired with 1-2 more middle round picks. Talent always wins out.
Btw he was still a 1000 yard WR last year
