Negative, Brady is in a league and tier of his own. 10 super bowl appearances, nearly half the time he’s been in the league he’s been in the super bowl.

7 wins of those 10 goes.

Absolutely insane
yet there was another guy playing at the same time who won 5 MVPs, 7x 1st team all pro, and had better stats almost every year

The truth is, all 4 give you a similar chance at success as far as their individual play. It's splitting hairs to rank them, but they're all in tier 1 or whatever you want to call it.

There's 52 other players, a coaching staff, a front office, and outside factors that all contribute to winning and losing. A nice chunk of this board chooses to ignore every single one of those things.

This is the absolute truth.

Rodgers doesn’t throw Int.

I think That’s probably his most impressive attribute. He hasn’t thrown double digit picks since 2010

If I remember correctly, he takes a shite ton of sacks.

Peyton 77 Fumbles in 266 games
Brees 112 Fumbles in 287 games
Brady 126 Fumbles in 301 games
Rodgers 85 Fumbles in 197 games

and that's with Peyton playing as a rookie in the 90s. Unlike Drew Tom and Aaron, the GOAT only got the benefit of playing a handful of years with all the no hitting rules

Or maybe just maybe….team wins dont equate to qb greatness

There's many different ways you can define greatness, which is why these topics are idiotic and pointless.

All 4 of these guys end up in the Hall of Fame eventually. Brady and Brees will be in the first time they are eligible, just like Manning was.

If I had to rank them, I'm going Brady, Manning, Brees, Rodgers. Brady has the titles. Manning has 2 titles (went to 4) and held quite a few records when he retired. Brees has alot of records, but he's only been to one Super Bowl. Same for Rodgers, although not as many records.

Yes, football is a team sport, but at the end of the day, we all know QBs are judged by what "THEY" did. It's the only position that we talk about a starting win-loss record. It's perceived as the most important position on the field, which is why we see massive contracts being thrown at average QBs now.

There's not much to seperate these guys on, but you can if you want to. Everyone is going to do it differently though based on what they feel is important and their own biases. And anyone is lying if they say they aren't biased in the way they rank these guys, because just going off of more Super Bowls or records is biased.

MVPs and All-Pro selections are very subjective as they are both voted on by a biased media. Hardware and stats are as objective as it gets and, in terms of those two things, Brady has Manning beat.

Championships in a team sport where a player is on the field for less than half the plays in a game is a terrible measurement. Dude won a Super Bowl MVP in a game that he played like trash in.

Soooooooooo

Quite possibly the most ignorant sports take.

This is the NFL and precision matters.

Im as big of peyton fan as any. On their skill as a qb alone.

Rodgers
Peyton
Brees
Brady

If you wana talk about career wise who had best.
Brady
Peyton
Arod
Brees

Bottom line, they are all in that conversation. And there I dont think there is anything else you could ask as a player.

I'm assuming you're talking about the first Super Bowl he won? Let me ask you a question....who would you have given that Super Bowl MVP to? The game tied, just over a minute left in regulation, the ball inside the 20-yard line, and everyone (including John Madden) telling the Patriots to run and play for overtime. Brady calmly and coolly guides the offense to a position inside field goal range so Adam Vinatieri can hit the game winner.

fricking stop it.

Go look up the defensive stats of all of the teams those QBs played with in that timeframe then get back to me with anything that stands out.

LMAO are you dumb? Peyton had better stats than Brady basically every year they played.

Also MVPs are hardware.

LMAO so a tiny difference(87.4 vs 90.4) in playoff stats outweighs Peyton being better almost every regular season?

Brees must be the GOAT then cause his playoff stats are way better (97.1)
