WAC commissioner Karl Benson said Tuesday that several high-profile programs have turned down a chance to play a home game against Boise State in 2011.

Who's got open dates in 2011? This is a completely PR move for them to look like no one wants to play them when they know hardly anyone has open dates. How many BCS teams would jump to play LSU in 2011 if they asked right now? I'm sure most have full schedules.

if i were LSU, i'd go out and offer BSU to play a game on the day they have VT scheduled, and when BSU says no, go to the national media saying how BSU was scared

Again it doesnt matter about a SEC season, my statement was they would take most SEC teams to the woodshed in Boise. Nobody on this board can say they wouldnt without having SEC or "big Boy" bias. They beat the Pac 10 champs at Boise, they have a big unbeaten streak at home, and nobody will play them there outside of the West Coast.

Excuses and did they win? It was the second year they beat them...what is the excuse for going to Autzen and winning last year?

I guess being ranked in top 10 most of the year and finishing 11th is garbage? Tell any LSU fan that.

Oregon not being that good? Boise beat them 37-32 when Oregon was on their like 3rd string QB. USC beat Oregon 44-10 two weeks later.

You really think Boise would be able to compete in the SEC?

Also, what is Boise's record against BCS teams this decade?

Yes they could compete. I guess because the 2 BCS wins mean nothing? The unbeaten years mean nothing?

But again my statement was...Boise would woodshed people IN BOISE

What is Boise's record at home against BCS teams?

95% of the board gave them no shot against TCU, they went out and beat TCU at its own game. People think Boise trick plays you to death, they do nothing different than FSU did early on building a program.

shite, man, 13 teams have at least 2 BCS wins.

Not really. We saw a few years ago how shitty a team can be and run through the WAC undefeated (Hawaii)

Beating Oregon 19-8 isn't exactly taking anyone to the woodshed. shite, they struggled against LaTech. They didn't even take UC Davis to the woodshed.

You guys just are going to hate them because you think they arent good. The Broncos are good, they play whoever will schedule them. The argument wont end until some SEC BIG 12 or Big 11 team goes there and plays them.

I will stand by my statement, they will woodshed most SEC teams in BOISE. They dont need our recognition, the coaches give them enough for their liking.

For the 19-8 score, that game wasnt even that close. They completely took UO out of the gameplan.

Since they don't get the big recruits, their coaching staff must be doing somethng right.

So this becomes competitive in Boise?

Why should they take a 2 for 1? They want 1 for 1, just like all other schools. Who knows what the 2 for 1 is and is NU wanting to play the first 2 at Lincoln and then play in Boise? Nebraska has offered many teams 3 or 4 for 1's but not 1 for 1's.

they want to play with the big boys. that's usually the offer for non-BCS teams unless they want to do a 1-and-done

not even all BCS schools get 1:1 deals. BSU is non-BCS trash.
