So what have we decided in this thread?
Is Boise being conspired against or is all the talk just rumor and BSU likes to play a cakewalk schedule and bitch at the end?

VT loves the move because they get to play in front of their very very large fan base in DC/Northern Va. that normally wouldn't make a trip to Blacksburg. Boise State gets a prime opponent, national television and a large check. Its a win-win.
Seeing how Boise returns all but 1 starter on both sides of the ball.. and Tech has to replace a number of major defensive contributors (including DE Worilds, LB Grimm and S Chancellor) I really like Boise to pull it out here.

I keep hearing this and it makes ZERO sense to me.
They are pre-season top 5 next year. You know they usually will beat EVERY shite team on there schedule, so they will finish 11-1 at worse most years and in the top 15-20.
It is completely advantageous for a BCS school to play and beat Boise, that'd be GREAT for there SOS.
The BCS schools can play another OOC game that will look similarly impressive without risking a loss to Boise State. Call it scheduling "scared" if you like, but the big schools pull in more money hosting another mid-major for a one-time deal with less risk of losing the game (as opposed to an obligation to play at Boise, along with a higher risk of losing).

My conclusion is that BSU is spouting BS until they actually call somebody out. Its pretty chickenshit (no offense to the big man) that they say "ummm, an undisclosed number of bigtime teams continue to turn us away" without actually disclosing some fact. These are the kinds of jackass statemtns that have congress looking into the BCS.
