It's a simple matter of Americanism....we are supposed to be the land of the Free. 
The bottom line, in my opinion, is that if they can't even tell the truth about what caused the pandemic (really, we still can't even tell the truth about the origins of the virus?), then there is no reason to trust the lock-downs were on the up-and-up. I hated the lock-downs from the beginning, without total transparency about WHAT WE WERE FACING.
At no point did we achieve transparency.

I’ve enjoyed shittalking against a few of these losers. Unfortunately, their ways will never be changed. I don’t even desire to do that. I just wish they could be accepting of another perspective. Is John not entitled to his own opinion so long as it doesn’t physically hurt anybody?

Meh, I don’t ever judge people by the clips shown in these documentaries. Directors and editors are well known to take statements out of context and cut comments to push their narrative.
Nothing in that quote is anti-vaxx, and we don’t even know if the whole statement was provided.
