I mean she probably is/was around pro athletes all the time. She played basketball at USC and is the sister to Jordan Cameron (Dolphins, Browns TE) and Colby Cameron (former Louisiana Tech QB).

Well the issue is that it is almost impossible to separate the kids from the mom, especially if she has custody.

And I know at Least Louisiana cuts your child support based on time you have the child, and contributions (education etc...)

I really don't understand the outrage. Its a lot of money absolutely, but its 2 kids of a guy making $30 mil a year if not more.

Its pretty laughable to only give her $10k a month too. Its plenty of money absolutely, but its a laughable portion of his salary.

As a percentage, its way more fair for the guy here than someone paying 40-50% in a middle class type of income.

I don't understand why it has to be based on a portion of his salary

it should be about how much it takes to support the child's needs

Oh I know. Dumb broad will probably have a $4 mil house or something stupid and be bankrupt 6 months after all her kids turn 18.

Believe me I'm not saying she needs that kind of money.

Blake Griffin to pay 258k/month in child support

To quote Chris Rock on an bitter child support paying OJ Simpon angry about new young men he suspected enjoying his ex wife & his money:

Is that a tax free 258k/mo?

Yep, tax free. Blake can't deduct child support so the woman doesn't pay taxes on it. Alimony the payee gets to deduct and the recipient pays taxes on it.

25k/max per child for high net worth individuals is plenty.

Are you fricking serious? Day care/infant care alone is $1200+ a month where I live. Considering he's paying on two kids (and I assume LA or wherever the kids are located is more expensive than Charleston), the full sum of $25k for child support would go to day care alone.

Blake Griffin signed a $170M contract and you think $25K should be the max? Get the frick out with that.

WTF?

If his lawyer agreed to that, he/she should be sued for malpractice.

If a judge ordered that, he/she should be removed from the bench.

If the law of the State of California actually calls for this, Saint Andres, pray for us!

Have you heard of child support guidelines? An army of the countries best lawyers can't get around that. It's statutory based on income. It's literally a chart/graph.
