Thats still the future IMO and the small and private schools are going to have an incredibly hard time competing.

Depends on the Private School. For example the tiny Texas Private Schools have more money than 85% of SEC programs.

ask yourself what NIL actually means.

The fact that they still call it NIL is laughable.

Let me get this straight you want some private donor to give 200 million to the louisiana government.
How do some of yall function?

No I dont want the damn government to get anyone’s money. But imagine if as a society, we cared about our efforts and money going to research, learning, health, etc as much as we cared about 18-22 year olds playing an absolutely meaningless endeavor?

It’s completely irrational we, yes we because I include myself, we spend this much of our money , time, resources on athletics

College athletics makes even less sense when you sit down and break it down. It’s fake “students” at this point. Individuals paying multi millions for some 20 year old to come and “represent” your school by barely attending a single classroom if at all for a year

You could say this about a lot of select private schools. All it takes is 2-3 billionaires.

If the Texas private schools had so much money why are they so expensive and why are they not doing better in sports?
