Actually, he won zero Super Bowls without Belichick.
That's a more relevant statement.

Beat me to it.
And yeah, I find the lack of quality trolling disturbing.

I wouldn't go as far as the OP, but Parcells didn't win a single playoff game with any team he was with for his final 15 years.
But he always was able to keep that label of the guy who could come in and build a team blah blah blah.

This guy brought the Jets to relevance. Brought the Cowboys to relevance during a shite period and need I remind you, was there for the emergence of Romo.

Always adapted
You can argue LOTS of positives for parcells, but IMO you can't possibly make that argument.
He did not adapt one bit. Look at the Miami years. He tried to build a ground and pound team that would beat you by scoring 16 points and kicking a ton of field goals. He did that in a time of the most prolific passing we've ever seen.
He didn't adapt one bit with Miami, not in the least.

It's fun to hate on people sometimes on message boards, but shitting on Bill fricking Parcells? The guy is a no brainer for the HOF. Ridiculous post. I really hope this is a troll attempt, but I have my doubts.

Of all the people who were HOF finalists, he was CLEARLY the least deserving. If he is such a great personnel guy, why did he suck so badly when he tried to run the show in Dallas and Miami?
He is not going in as a GM, he is going in as a coach.

But like I was saying, he got wayyyyyy too much credit as a GM IMO, mostly based on his coaching success from the 90s.

why are sports fans the biggest haters on the planet????

parcells is a great team builder, and it doesn't take long. coaches after him inherited his built up teams and got a lot of success from it.
New England - to the Super Bowl
Jets - if not for Vinny's injury, they go to the SB
Dallas - was getting there until Jones interfered, asserting Romo as a QB and TO on the team. you now see why he didn't want either one.
not that good of a job with the Dolphins, better as a coach. maybe the hands on part.

He built a pretty good team in Dallas

I'm not sure I remember him getting a lot of credit as a GM. I know Young got the credit for building the 80's teams.
I do find it interesting that while he won everywhere he coached, he got progressively "worse". He won 2 SB's with the NYG. Lost a SB with NE, lost the AFC CG with the Jets, lost in the playoffs with Dallas.

Based on what? He was injured in week 1

First to coach 4 different teams in the playoffs, went to 3 Super Bowls winning 2 of them. Had best 2 year turnaround with the Jets that went 1-15, to 9-7 and 12-4. Pretty good coach in my opinion, not the best ever, but solid.

was he the one who picked terry glenn out of the womenz section?

Bill Walsh won zero Super Bowls without George Seifert. So what's the point of this?

Yeah, I don't get this argument.
I'm not going to punish someone because they recognize great talent and hold on to it.

Bill didn't have an issue with Romo as the starter. He just didn't like the media circus that started to build around him.
Bill was way more pissed that he had to use Quincy Carter as his QB b/c of Jerry and absolutely hated getting TO forced on him.
