The founder of The Ticket retired today. Going to be weird not hearing him on the way home

Weird melt.

The ticket is a treasure even if you aren't a Dallas sports fan.

I don't care about Dallas Sports, but I listen to The Hardline regularly. I will miss the Old Grey Wolf. Stay hard Mike, and keep jamming.

One of the greatest radio voices I've very heard. He'll be missed, and The Ticket was a radical concept of sports radio

The heydey of hardline was rhynes, greggo the hammer Williams and a young corby Davidson. GOAT

Their drops were all time all time. I'll never forget the drop they used to play of norm hitzgis tripping balls.

I've seen him out at Lee Harvey's recently and he isn't looking good. On the flip side, Junior Miller just married Natalie Solis, a local newscaster.

His impact on sports radio will never be fully appreciated because he is not a national name.

Why? So you can hear Steve Dennis try to be Randy Galloway w/extra bloviating and none of the charm?

Mikes a legend and will be missed. Respect for leaving on his terms.

He’s in two big cover bands in DFW so he stays busy and has tons of money

And Ryner credits Howard Stern for the concept

Dennis is a douche no doubt. But I like Collishaw alot. also like 103.3 Jam session during lunch way more than what the ticket offers.

I don’t listen to the Ticket anymore, but he was a pioneer in sports talk and will be missed.

Man these sad sack POS podcasters running down a guy who basically INVENTED guy talk and all the shite that goes with it.

People have zero fricking respect for those who actually do shite.
