Pretty much this.
He just sounds bitter and scorned just like the rest of the lil bevo conference.
The rejection by the PAC must sting pretty deep while watching Mizzou and aTm walk out to the best conference in the country.

Plus this whole "bcs wins" thing is nonsense anyway. Mizzou has actually won an Orange bowl and sugar bowl in their history, just before the "BCS" took over the bowl. Do your national titles pre BCS not count as well, bc then you have 1 and the SEC still has won 6 in a row

How many BCS wins do Mizzou/A&M have combined? TCU/WVU have four.
LOL are you really this dumb?
You do realize what conferences those teams got their BCS bowls in, right? This is the worst point ever...
WVU and TCU won't make it to another BCS bowl in a long time, and if they do then it wouldnt be good for the Big 12 because they would mean the traditional Big 12(10) teams aren't doing well

Like I said, idgaf about Mizzou/A&M leaving. OU will continue to be a giant program in the college football world with or without you.
You know how Arkansas, A&M and LSU all expect a recruiting bump in Texas from adding A&M to the SEC? At whose expense do you think those players are coming from?
LSU isn't trying to recruit kids that would have gone to Texas Tech, TCU or Baylol

lulz at Oklahoma now settling for "BCS wins" rather than championships....
I'm only comparing Mizzou/A&M with TCU/WVU.
OU doesn't settle for BCS wins, we have 7 Championships. That's not the point of this thread though.

I would also like to add that A&M has beaten TCU 24 times in a row. That's no fluke. That's one program completely dominating another.
A&M is superior to TCU or the SEC would have gone after TCU. EOT

Many of these idiots havent thought things through yet.
I am pretty sure the leadership at OU has however. They wanted those California recruting grounds opened up badly with a move to the PAC.
The SEC is going to come into Texas and directly compete with OU by tapping into its lifeblood of recruiting.

I said "wins" not "bids". It takes a good team to win a BCS game. Mizzou has never even been, so you sound bitter. And moving to the SEC won't make it any easier, obviously.

coming from an Oklahoma fan, this is fricking hilarious

Good point. I'm not too concerned about recruiting though. Stoops and OU will always get talent as will LSU, Arkansas and A&M. It seems like OU is never very highly ranked recruiting wise.

Come back to me in January and we'll compare records and I'll tell you what position I'd rather be in.

Yes, but you can't win a BCS bowl unless you get a bid, now how many BCS bids would WVU and TCU have if they had been in the Big 12 from the get go? How many would Mizzo or A&M have if they were in the Big East or MWC?

What recruit wouldn't want to play this schedule?

A recruit that wants to have a chance to reach the National Title game every year while playing for one of the strongest programs in the country would want to play that schedule.

Recruits go from programs, not schedules. OU and Texas will be fine, they could get bit like USC if the current BCS stays the same, but if they do a 4 team playoff with only conference winners, it wont be an issue.
It is disingenuous for the Big 12 to say they are better off with TCU and WVU given the steps they took to keep A&M and Mizzo.
