The B12 would be better served by contraction rather than expansion after they lucked into the Pac12 collapse. They could be the dominant western conference if they ditched WVU, Cinci, and UCF and added Cal, Oregon St, and Washington St. There is far more legitimacy in owning a territory than taking the entire nation’s leftovers. They would have the flagship universities of California, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and Kansas, with virtually all of the secondary state schools in the Western half of the nation.
You can’t ignore a huge section of the nation but you can ignore a perception of a mid tier conference thst takes anyone from anywhere.
agreed
Problem is you can't just kick WV in Cincinnati out what could potentially although I doubt it will happen but what could possibly happen is the Big 12 and the ACC could get together and agree that realignment,West and East not necessarily combine conferences but reconfiguring but lowering the cost for non-revenue sports travel a more cohesive time zone for game times
And it's unlikely
but could possibly happen when they realize that you've got the SEC and Big 10 that are going to be the power conferences and the other teams champions will make the playoff but barring an exceptional year that the best it can get,, after the nil bs settles and schools start considering dropping sports that option is better dropping sports
even 4 tier 2 conferences gets more CFB playoff $$ per school, than the 2-3 the B12, ACC schools will be getting in the next 3-6 years
but ND has to be forced in a conference and big10 is the only one they'd agree to

How can you just kick WVU out?

They’ll join one when it makes sense…

The ACC would be better kicking out BC before adding UConn.
Heck, I would kick out about a 1/4 of the ACC for WVU

Remember when West Virginia fans thought they earned a spot in the SEC by losing to LSU by 4 TDs at home.

That’s too bad. UConn perfect in the big east. That football program is an albatross around their neck.

When Okie Lite is suddenly the conference permier program you get desperate.

To be fair it was 3 TDs and was a close game until late in the 3rd quarter.
