Big 12 made the call to the refs.

I want to believe that. Ive said it. But we've seen them pass the eye test before.

WTF, the ball had not left the hand at all
Posted on 12/3/22 at 1:18 pm to Civildawg
Cant believe they reversed that
Posted on 12/3/22 at 1:18 pm to SingleMalt1973
These refs screwing K State. Took away a catch before half and now robbed them of a safety.

Seems like good call, bad rule to me.
Posted on 12/3/22 at 1:18 pm to usc6158
Wtf, that was a terrible call
Posted on 12/3/22 at 1:18 pm to SingleMalt1973
I’m kind of shocked they overturned that. The more they showed it, the more it looked like he was trying to keep it.
Posted on 12/3/22 at 1:18 pm to LSU6262
Not sure it was indisputable to overturn that one

Intent doesn’t even matter.
The ball was not released by the QB, AT ALL.

Exactly what I was thinking.
His hand can go forward all it wants, the ball never left his hand and the defender hit the ball and the ball goes backwards. Clearly a fumble and the play should have never went to review

Man, that was fricked up. He clearly got it knocked out of his hand.
